Join Samaritan's Feet as we partner with Missions of Hope International (MOHI) for a life-changing week of ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, from February 13–20, 2027. During this trip, you'll have the opportunity to serve alongside a trusted local ministry that is transforming lives through education, community development, and the love of Christ. Team members will worship with a local MOHI church, participate in an orientation to learn about the ministry's impact, and spend four days distributing shoes while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and community members. The team will stay in MOHI-operated guesthouses, where breakfast and dinner are provided daily, while lunches will be served at MOHI headquarters. Wi-Fi is available at the guesthouses and schools, and cell service is generally accessible throughout the ministry areas.
In addition to ministry, the trip offers several opportunities to experience the culture and beauty of Kenya. The team will enjoy shopping at the vibrant Maasai Market, fellowship over meals at local restaurants, and conclude the week with a safari through Nairobi National Park followed by a visit to the Giraffe Centre before departing for the airport. For those looking to extend their experience, additional excursions to destinations such as Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, the Maasai Mara, or other regions of Kenya may also be available.
Whether you have served on a mission trip before or are joining one for the first time, this trip provides a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact while growing in your faith. This trip is available to those ages 9 and up, making it a wonderful opportunity for families, individuals, churches, and groups to serve together. Throughout the week, you'll have the chance to witness God's work firsthand while encouraging communities through compassion, service, and the gift of new shoes.

Missions of Hope International (MOHI) is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to transforming disadvantaged communities across Africa through a holistic approach to ministry. By integrating education, healthcare, economic development, and evangelism, MOHI seeks to break the cycle of poverty while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. Recognizing that poverty impacts every aspect of life, their mission is to restore relationships with God, self, others, and society so individuals and families can flourish as God intended. Every program is designed to educate, empower, restore, and redeem, creating lasting transformation for children, families, and entire communities.
Each year, MOHI welcomes hundreds of visitors from around the world to serve alongside their dedicated staff and local communities. Short-term mission teams play an important role by encouraging students, supporting local leaders, sharing their skills, and demonstrating Christ's love through meaningful relationships and practical service. These experiences not only strengthen the communities MOHI serves but also provide volunteers with the opportunity to witness firsthand how God is working through long-term, sustainable ministry.
With more than 2,000 staff members and partnerships with over 80 organizations, MOHI continues to expand its impact throughout unreached and underserved communities. Their vision is to see children educated, parents empowered, communities restored, and lives redeemed through the transforming power of the Gospel. Together with local leaders and ministry partners, MOHI remains committed to bringing lasting hope and holistic transformation to communities across Africa.
The ministry provides humanitarian aid through food distribution, medical assistance, clothing, shelter support, education programs, language classes, children’s activities, and community outreach. Their vision is to meet people in their immediate needs while also offering hope, dignity, and spiritual encouragement through the love of Christ.
Samaritan's Feet International is a 501c3 humanitarian aid organization. Our mission is to serve and inspire hope in children by providing new, proper fitting shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of global education and economic opportunities.
