Join Adventure Yoga For Kids Creator and Founder Mary Susan Stults to explore, discuss, and thoroughly cover in greater depth the fundamentals, art, and specifics of teaching Yoga for Tots, Kids, Tweens, Teens, Families, and more! 

The 40 HR in-depth training will be lead by Mary Susan Stults and will be assisted by an AYFK Kids Yoga Teacher.

Over the course of three playful, educational, and nourishing days, we will discuss in detail the art of teaching Kids Yoga, covering ages 18 months to Teens and Family/All-Ages Yoga. 

We will also cover an array of related topics including:

-Basic Sequencing, Structure. & Format for Teaching and Classes

-Teaching Yoga: Age Group Specifics (Tots, Kids,Tweens, Teens, School-Group, Family, All-Ages) 

- Yoga in Schools: How to Translate Kids Yoga From the Studio To the Classroom 

-Pranayama: Breathwork For Kids

-Guided Meditation & Savasana for Kids 

-Adaptive Yoga For the Young: 

Introduction to Teaching Adaptive Yoga for Children with Sensory Processing Challenges, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities.

-The Business of Kids Yoga:

(The Basics of Business) 

(Navigating the Kids Yoga Business World Effectively, Successfully, and Mindfully)

-How to Extend the Benefits of Kids Yoga From Studio to hOMe: (how to teach Kids and Parents how to EFFECTIVELY extend the tools, tips, and benefits of Kids Yoga into their homes and daily lives)

-Entry to adult yoga at the Hanalei Farmer's Market class Saturday morning from 10-11:30am before training begins

***THIS TRAINING IS FOR ANYONE WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT PROVIDING YOGA FOR KIDS AND THE YOUNG: Appropriate for yoga teachers, school teachers, education professionals & providers, healthcare providers, parents, nannies, after-school program providers, children's & victims advocates, CASAS (Court Appointed Special Advocates), coaches, families, and anyone who would like to teach, or learn more about teaching Kids Yoga! 

*** Attendees do not need to have completed a prior Yoga Teacher Training, or have had hands-on teaching experience. If you are passionate about Yoga, and providing Yoga For Children (or simply learning more), then this training is for you! 

TRAINING SCHEDULE: 

--Friday: 5:00 - 8:30/9pm (healthy dinner will be provided for all attending Friday evening :))

--Saturday: 12:00-8:30/9:00pm

--Sunday:  12:00-8:30/9:00pm

Additional Training Requirements: 

To complete all 40 HRS of training, additional req's will include a Take Home Exam, Class Taking Requirements, Class Observation Requirements, and Practice Teaching which can be completed through Adventure Yoga For Kids or other pre-approved Kids Yoga schools and studios :)
