Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha, Planet Lodge or similar
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel before attending an evening pre-climb briefing with your lead mountain guide. During the briefing, your guide will inspect your trekking equipment, explain the itinerary, discuss safety procedures, and answer any questions about your Kilimanjaro adventure.

Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp (Big Tree Camp) where your mountain crew will have your tents ready.

Today follows the important acclimatization strategy of "climb high, sleep low."
Ascend steadily to the famous Lava Tower (4,630m) where you'll stop for lunch and enjoy spectacular views before descending into the beautiful Barranco Valley.
This challenging but rewarding day greatly increases your body's adaptation to altitude.

Begin the morning by climbing the famous Barranco Wall, one of Kilimanjaro's most exciting highlights.
Although it looks intimidating from below, the climb is non-technical and rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views.
Continue through valleys and ridges before arriving at Karanga Camp, where you'll enjoy lunch and spend the afternoon resting before the final ascent.

Today's trek is relatively short as you climb to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt.

After celebrating your achievement, descend to Barafu Camp for a short break before continuing to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.
