About your trip

This 10-day itinerary includes an 8-day trek to Uhuru Peak – the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Lemosho Route is ideal for people looking for a picturesque trekking adventure with panoramic views and a more comfortable pace. This route has a moderate altitude rise and utilizes the ‘climb high, sleep low’ strategy, which allows climbers to more easily acclimatize – reducing the risk of altitude sickness and increasing their chances of success in reaching the summit – making it one of the preferred routes for first-timers and hikers with less experience with high-altitude trekking. With its breathtaking views, pristine environment, and diverse ecosystems with many different species of flora and fauna, the Lemosho Route is a wonderful trip for nature enthusiasts, hikers, and mountaineers alike.
