A fun and informative class covering tips from A-Z and tricks from 1-50! From shaping sleeves to estimating yardage, to hand exercises and making your stitches singâthis workshop will transform the way you knit.

𧶠50 Shades of Sweaters OR 50 Shades of Shawls (3 hours â AM)
Campersâ choice! We will decide beforehand via email.
- 50 Shades of Sweaters: Never knit a sweater? Or knit some that didnât fit quite right? Learn from 60 different sweater styles as Cori demonstrates what works (and what doesnât). Youâll discover how to fix common issuesâlike a gaping neckline, too-long sweaters, or sleeves that never seem right. Plus, find out how a well-knit sweater can flatter your body shape!

Have a sweater, shawl, or other knitwear that just isnât working? This class is all about bringing old, unloved projects back to life. Bring your problem knits and get expert advice on fixing and improving them! Class participation is requiredâso be sure to bring something for a makeover.
𧶠When Knitting Goes Wrong: Fixing Mistakes (Bonus Content Available)
Learn to fix 6-10 of the most common mistakes that trip up advanced beginners, including:
𧷠Tinking & frogging
𧷠Changing purls to knits (and vice versa)
𧷠Laddering dropped stitches back up

Cori Eichelberger
Cori Eichelberger is a former high school English teacher to at-risk students, whom she also taught to knit. She has spent 20 years teaching beginning knitting and technique classes and co-authored the knitting pattern book: Minnesota 52: 16 Knits Inspired by the Road (2017) and wrote Knitword: 8 Designs to Celebrate the Knitter (2021). Her high energy classes are extremely popular at yarn stores and retreats throughout the United States. Cori has had a YouTube knitting vlog since 2018 with an emphasis on inspiring knitters, sharing knowledge and making you laugh. Thursday AM â Fixer Upper & First Aid Station
Supplies Needed: Bring your problem projects to this class for a little help with fixes, tips and tricks for
specific problems. Letâs fix necklines, shoulders, button bands, fit and more.

Your Instructors and the Nome Schoolhouse do much to prepare for your arrival. To honor the work that we put towards your place in the class there is a firm time frame around when and how refunds are given. Tickets may be transferred to another person upon approval by the Nome Schoolhouse.
