I really love Reefs to Rockies Touring Company & especially Carly our guide. She is a wealth of knowledge & a very special & lovely person. Our group of 7 birders left Denver in their green safari van - heading to Nebraska to see Sandhill Crane's migrating, a very special Greater Prairie Chicken Lek & so, so much more. The group all had a great time, birding, eating at local restaurants & sharing fun times.

I had a wonderful trip with Kyle April 16-19, 2026. I flew from Denver to Tucson direct and Kyle and the group of 4 others were there when I arrived. We all quickly became friends as we headed south to our lovely hotel. The birding was amazing. Everyday was a new adventure. We saw 82 different species of birds and even a bobcat. I highly recommend Reefs to Rockies & Kyle. P.S. this is my 6th trip with them.

I traveled to Lungmar Remote Camp in Leh Ladakh with the goal of observing snow leopards, though I’ll admit I arrived with tempered expectations. Having lived in India for three years, I knew just how rare these sightings can be—I had only ever heard of one group catching a brief glimpse of a solitary leopard crossing a path. What unfolded on this trip far exceeded anything I thought possible.
Over the course of our stay, we had nine separate sightings involving six different snow leopards. The most extraordinary experience was observing a mother with her two cubs over two days, totaling more than sixteen hours. Watching their behavior in such a raw and remote landscape was nothing short of unforgettable.
The success of this trip was due in no small part to the exceptional team at the camp. Our guide, trackers, and staff were outstanding—deeply knowledgeable, attentive, and completely dedicated to our experience. I never had to carry a single item; every detail was handled with care. Their top priority was both our comfort and maximizing our chances of meaningful wildlife encounters, and it showed in every aspect of the journey.
The camp itself was equally impressive. The lodgings were comfortable, the food excellent, and the overall atmosphere warm and welcoming. What stood out most was the genuine passion of the team—not just for ensuring guest satisfaction, but for supporting the local community and advancing the camp’s mission.
Having been on many natural history trips, I can confidently say that Reef to Rockies’ snow leopard expedition ranks among the very best. This was a rare and remarkable experience that I will never forget.
