This leg of our journey takes us into the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, beginning in Florence—the cradle of the Renaissance—where we will wander cobblestone streets lined with legendary masterpieces, majestic cathedrals, and world-class culinary delights. From the grand Uffizi to the towering Duomo, the city is a living museum. Just a short journey away lies Pisa, where we will step into the spectacular Piazza dei Miracoli to marvel at the iconic Leaning Tower and its breathtaking marble counterparts. Welcome to Rome, a mesmerizing open-air museum where nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture, and culture come to life. On this leg of our journey, we will walk in the footsteps of emperors and gladiators as we explore iconic wonders like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the breathtaking Pantheon. We'll cross into the spiritual heart of Vatican City to marvel at Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel before tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure our return. Sorrento: The Gateway to the Sun - Drenched South

Serving as our perfect coastal base, this elegant town invites us to wander its labyrinth of lively, cobblestone alleyways filled with artisan shops, bustling trattorias, and boutiques selling authentic limoncello. Whether we are watching the sunset over Mount Vesuvius from a panoramic cliffside terrace, sipping espresso in the vibrant Piazza Tasso, or watching the fishing boats come and go at Marina Grande, Sorrento perfectly captures the laid-back, romantic rhythm of southern Italy.

The Amalfi Coast: Italy’s Dramatic Southern Paradise

On this leg of our journey, we will wind through dramatic coastal roads to explore a vertical landscape of pastel-colored villages, sun-drenched lemon groves, and elegant cliffside villas. From the chic, steep streets of Positano and the historic maritime charm of Amalfi, to the quiet, panoramic heights of Ravello, every stop offers postcard-perfect vistas. This trip is the ultimate Mediterranean escape, designed for soaking up the sun, savoring fresh seafood on the waterfront, and experiencing the effortless glamour of southern Italy's most celebrated coast.

Capri & Anacapri: Glamour and Mountain Heights

A Mediterranean jewel in the Bay of Naples, the legendary island of Capri invites us into a world of dramatic limestone cliffs, chic designer boutiques, and shimmering turquoise waters. While the bustling main town sparkles with glamorous piazzas, our journey takes us up to the quieter, historic village of Anacapri. Here, we will step onto the spectacular Mount Solaro chairlift—an unforgettable, open-air single-seat ride that gently glides above vineyards and orchards up to the island's highest peak. As you reach the summit, you'll be treated to a breathtaking, 360-degree panorama of the entire Gulf of Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and the endless blue horizon, making this island escape the absolute pinnacle of our coastal adventure.

Travel Insurance is highly suggested for international travel. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case of a flight cancellation or any change that may come up in travel plans. In addition to refunding your trip fees, it may also include medical expense coverage (remember that your USA based health insurance may not apply in Europe) and reimbursement for lost, damaged or stolen luggage and personal items.  

You may first check with your credit card company to inquire about their travel services.  

We suggest getting a policy from either Travel Guard, Allianz Travel Ins, or similar company:

Cancellation Policy

If you or any member of your party, cancel your arrangements at any time, written notification from the person who made the booking must be received by email at gorotraveltours@gmail.com

If you must cancel, the initial full deposit is non-refundable. We will, however, grant your transfer of our land trip to another participant knowing they will satisfy the balance due by final payment date. This transfer will NOT INCLUDE any Inter-Island Airfare or Any Excursions which are Non-Transferable on our end. 

If you cancel prior to 60 days of the trip, a 25% refund of all payments received, will be returned. Any cancellations made within 60 days or less will be forfeited, due to our obligation and non-refundable transactions, with our accommodation, transport and excursions. 

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made. Thank you in advance for your understanding.  

Again, we highly suggest Travel Insurance for your protection and refunds.

A Travel Waivers will be emailed to you for review and signature.  You may scan or take a copy of Only the necessary Signed Pages and either return them via email or text.  Remember, return only the signed pages of the forms as a receipt of acknowledgement.

Please forward a copy of your Passport to our email  gorotraveltours@gmail.com  These documents are necessary for us to have on hand for the hotel stays, as well as excursions booked, etc. while traveling in Europe.
