The Ladies 4x4 Weekend is an exciting two-day adventure designed exclusively for women who own 4x4 vehicles or wish to learn the fundamentals of off-road driving in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Guided by experienced instructors, participants receive complimentary off-road driving training, helping them build confidence, improve vehicle control, and develop practical 4x4 driving skills.

The journey begins at 07:00 from the Kuruman Tourism Information parking, where participants depart in a convoy of 4x4 vehicles heading toward the breathtaking Witsand Nature Reserve. Along the route, the group makes a stop in Postmasburg, where ladies driving their own 4x4 vehicles are treated to complimentary biltong. The convoy then continues with a scenic drive-through in Kathu, one of the Northern Cape’s prominent mining towns.

Upon arrival at Witsand, guests enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including quad biking, sandboarding, mountain biking, and swimming, followed by a relaxed braai evening under the Kalahari sky, creating the perfect atmosphere for socialising and relaxation. Day two is dedicated to the highlight of the weekend — 4x4 dune driving across the roaring sands of Witsand. Groups of eight ladies participate in a 15 km off-road experience lasting approximately 2.5 hours, navigating the dunes while enjoying sightings of wildlife roaming the reserve. The tour accommodates 8–16 4x4 participants per weekend, offering a memorable blend of adventure, learning, and sisterhood.
