Arrive at Belize International Airport

Lake Bacalar is not easy to get to, and that is the allure of such a stunning destination. With that said, the nearest international airport that has flights from the USA to Bacalar is Belize International Airport which is about 2.5 hours away. We will fly into Belize International Airport and drive across the Belize boarder into Mexico (transfer included).

If you do not want to do the drive, you also have the option of flying through Mexico City and taking a connection to Chetumal, or you can fly into Cancun International Airport and take a connection to Chetumal. From Cancun, the drive is 4 hours.

Upon arrival in Chetumal, we’ll arrange your transfer to the hotel, Casa Hormiga.

Tonight, we’ll enjoy a Welcome dinner at Balik (included) to kick off our long weekend.

Morning Intention Session- Aromatherapy & guided meditation, Reiki Crystal session- Full group

Reiki is a meditative energetic treatment of Japanese origin found to release accumulated emotional blockages in the body promoting relaxation and reducing stress and anxiety through gentle touch. It works in a soft but powerful way through the chakras supported with the wisdom of sacred crystals. It is a relaxing and opening experience.

After our morning session, enjoy the full day at leisure to explore nearby shops, kayaking or paddle board on Lake Bacalar, or go see Mayan ruins. You also have a beach club pass included in your trip package.

Six people will have spa appointments today at the spa following our morning session. Spa sign up will be included in the registration process.

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Bacalar's famous Seven Colors Lagoon during this fun sailboat excursion. Your captain will navigate the stunning canals of blue and turquoise waters. Bathe and swim in the colorful waters and visit several freshwater cenotes, bird island, and an old pirate canal along the way. Experience includes snorkeling gear, wine, beer, water and snacks.

Morning Sound Vibrational Healing Session

Experience inner body through the resonance of sound waves emitted by various instruments that go through the body reaching and soothing every cell. It is the ideal experience for a deep meditation seeking higher states of consciousness and inner silence.

Spend your last full day in Bacalar at your leisure by gliding over the lagoon’s warm, blue waters in a transparent crystal kayak while observing all that is happening under and around us. Enjoy your afternoon in Bacalar Town, with all the vibrant murals you can find on any corner, so it is perfect to just stroll around its charming streets.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our trip. Every guide that was planned, suggested activities, location, hotel, etc was perfect. At the end of every day we were absolutely exhausted because we just wanted to keep going and seeing more and more, even on our free days. This will be a trip we remember forever and forever and share with anyone that will listen.

This trip was awesome! Our hotels were always pretty central to all the activities that we wanted to do in each city, so no super long travel mid day. Plus the rhythm of the trip was perfect, as we got fatigued in Tokyo we had a nice relaxing time in the onsens at Hakone mid trip. Every guide we had was also fantastic, they were all very knowledgeable of the areas and gave great recommendations for our time we had without them.
