Room type is determined by how many tour participants are sharing a hotel room. Sunshine Travel offers room accommodations for one person alone (single), two people sharing a room (double), three people sharing (triple), and four people sharing (quad). The number of people in the hotel room split the cost of that room equally, so the greater the number of people sharing the room, the lesser the cost of the room is for each individual. Therefore, a tour participant traveling as a “single” will have a higher price than someone traveling as a “quad.” Your school/organization provides Sunshine Travel with a rooming list that designates who will be sleeping in which room, and we invoice tour participants according to that list.

Itinerary
Today you meet the group at the airport for a flight to New York City. Welcome to the Big Apple! Your first stop finds you enjoying Rockefeller Center, a part of the city that is bustling with activity and filled with works of art. Nearby is St. Patrick’s Cathedral, where you will have an opportunity to go inside and see the wonderful stained glass windows and organ. Then it’s off to dinner in exciting Times Square at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, known for its world-famous singing waiters. Your evening ends with attending the amazing production of Hadestown (upon availability; student-priced balcony seating) on none other than Broadway! Then you check into a New York hotel, your home away from home for the next three overnights.
