      About this trip

Join Professor Vicki Shaver in July 2024 for an exciting trip to Germany and France!

This trip is open to all Lambda Nu members from across the country. We will start in Munich and then take you to off-the-beaten-path towns of Erlangen, Wurzburg, and Dusseldorf. You will then hop on a train to Paris and spend five nights exploring the city.

During the trip, you will visit several interesting places, including the Siemens Healthineers Med Museum and the Lab of Roentgen at the University of Wurzburg. You will also visit the Roentgen Museum and the Curie Museum in Paris. In addition to these visits, you will also enjoy a day trip to Mont Saint Michel and Normandie.

This trip is a great opportunity to explore new places, learn about the history of medicine, and meet other Lambda Nu members. If you have any questions about the trip, please email Vicki at shaverv@palmbeachstate.edu.

We hope you can join us for this unforgettable trip!

Every aspect of this trip was amazing! We traveled with a great group of people and everything was meticulously organized. My husband and I had been to Italy before, but we had never experienced it quite like this - great tours and hotel in Florence, magical Italian villas out in the vineyards of Tuscany, beautiful Lake Garda and the wine/food were incredible!
