Your home for the week is a private villa and tranquil hideaway set in secluded Shela Beach. Forodhani House is known for it’s beautiful grounds, glistening pool, welcoming common areas and epic views of the Indian Ocean. Pristine Shela Beach is a 45 minutes walk from old town, or you can go by dhow in 20 minutes. All of Lamu Old Town is a UNESCO site.
We’ve built our reputation on a culinary experience that, in itself, will remind you of the joy of being alive. In Lamu, we are collaborating with a local chef with special access to regional and organic ingredients. We accommodate all dietary restrictions - just tell us when you book.
