I had the most relaxing and beautiful time in Playa Gigante with Room to Roam! The beds/room was comfy, the pool was refreshing, the food was delicious and the excursions were amazing (especially the tortilla + cheese making!).
Kate + her team are so organized and helpful (and fun!). Hope to be back soon! Thank you!!

Our stay at Room to Roam in Playa Gigante was extraordinary. It started with their transportation from the Managua airport to Playa Gigante - it was seamless and our driver was great and made us feel comfortable at all times.
When we arrived we had our first delicious meal at Room to Roam made with fresh, local, and super tasty ingredients by their kitchen staff. Every following meal was similarly exquisite whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Throughout our stay, the staff was amazing, friendly, open, and even ready to teach us some Nica slang. The vibe at Room to Roam is very comfortable and safe. It is a great spot to just relax or pack your day with activities.
We did a little bit of both. Kate was extremely communicative and organized, and tailored the excursions and activities to our preferences. Starting the day with some yoga or some exercise additionally allowed us to relax and fully absorb the Room to Roam and Playa Gigante experience. Our excursions were to Laguna de Apoyo, the Masaya volcano, cooking class with locals, and horseback riding (a few of the many possibilities). I can fully recommend all of these activities.
The village of Playa Gigante is a chill mix of locals and visitors (very few tourists). The landscape is breathtaking - offering beautiful beaches and opportunities to take walks, ride the waves, or even to explore the area on horseback.
It is worth noting that we felt taken care of by the staff at all times. This trip was unforgettable!

I can’t say enough about my wonderful experience with Kate, Ashley, Lorenzo and the whole staff at Room to Roam! This trip was truly magical. I was a little nervous to travel for the first time since COVID. Kate took such great care ushering me in to Nicaragua. I was very stressed at home prior to leaving and Kate kept taking things off my plate as I prepared to leave. Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly by the staff. I was instantly relaxed. Marco’s truly does make the BEST passion fruit margarita on the planet! My intention was surf and boy did I fall back in love with surfing, but I am really walking away with so much more- a complete reboot for my body, mind and soul! I’ll be back again soon! PS the food is out of the this world! Every single meal…. Mouth watering!
