The Yoga Culture is a place for yogis to come to find their freedom. Whatever that means for you. Yoga was always a lifestyle for me—more than just an hour long class at a studio. I wanted to create an atmosphere of contentment and belonging for all yogis to support their lifestyle of yoga. So, picture this: The smell of the studio when you walk in, being greeted by your name and maybe some organic juice with a small library of books on the wall for studying and deepening the practice whenever you want to come and hangout in the co

I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Barbados yoga retreat in a welcoming, friendly, beautiful, and warm place. Friendly and wonderful people, food was delicious, and I enjoyed the scenic and peaceful accommodations. It was a pleasure meeting everyone at the Barbados retreat and I enjoyed each conversation with everyone. Thanks to the sponsors and yoga instructors from The Yoga Culture Maria, Shannen, and Ellen for your time and wonderful workshops. Demetria

The retreat was fantastic. Every aspect was beautifully curated. From the location, to the food, to the instructors, and so much more. My expectations were more than exceeded. Maria was so welcoming and accommodating and took care of all the details so that all we had to do as guests was relax and enjoy our time. Barbados is a beautiful island with warm, friendly people. The resort was gorgeous and located on the quiet and peaceful side of the island. The rooms were very pretty and clean and to top it off the whole place was eco friendly. The food was unlike anything I have experienced before. Every ingredient was fresh, house made, and artfully presented. For the yoga we had a nice variety of instructors. We had a well rounded experience with some sessions focused on strength building and some focused on healing. Ellen's hand stand class was a plus. Maria and Shan also provided activities to help participants look inward, and inspire personal growth. I would recommend this retreat to anyone and would do it again in a heart beat.
