This was a great experience for our first day in Lima. We visited a local market in a tuk tuk and visited lots of stalls for tastings.
The guide even drove us back to our accommodation afterwards so it was great value for money.

The Foodies Tour of Lima was wonderful!! I had a lovely time learning a lot about different foods in Peru and the ingredients and origins of different dishes.  It was wonderful touring the fresh food market and meeting some delightful  stall holders thanks to our very knowledgeable guide!! Thank you very very much!

Peruvian Cooking Class & Market Tour

We had a lovely time! It was great trying all of the food from the local market and Arturo explained everything really well!

We had an awesome time.  EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC.  The guide, Artulo was not only professional and knowledgeable but was so friendly!  The tour was incredible.  We recommend  this tour.  THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO EXPERIENCE PERU.

Tuk Tuk & Peruvian Food Experience

Fantastico! We did the Lima Just For Foodies 3 hour tour.
We took a tuk tuk to a very local market in the residential part of Barranco that we never would have discovered on our own.
Inside, we tried so many Peruvian specialties like causa, chilcano, and chaufa. We washed them down with the likes of chicha morada and Inca Cola! In between each food, we walked around and learned about different aspects of the market, chatted with friendly vendors, and sampled various exotic fruits and veggies.
We also tried a few classic Peruvian desserts before leaving the market and walking around the neighborhood, trying street food along the way and ducking into smaller super local markets for more sampling of fresh fruits, olives, and other treats.
Arturo was friendly, passionate, knowledgeable, and lots of fun to hang out with. He felt like an old friend by the end and we were sad to say goodbye!
I highly recommend this tour for a slice of everyday Peruvian life and food.
