Discover Vallecito, one of the least explored landscapes near San Pedro de Atacama, on an excursion that combines natural formations, ancient watercourse remnants, and scenery reminiscent of the lunar surface. As you journey through the Salt Mountain Range (Cordillera de la Sal), you will encounter unique landscapes and reach the famous "Abandoned Bus" or "Magic Bus"—a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and take photos.

14:00 – We will pick you up from your accommodation within the San Pedro de Atacama town area to begin our excursion to the Salt Mountain Range (Cordillera de la Sal). We will gradually move away from the town while taking in the area's distinctive desert landscape.

We will arrive at Vallecito, an area surrounded by impressive formations of the Salt Mountain Range. The landscape features hues and textures that, combined with the desert's aridity, create the sensation of being in a lunar setting.

We will have time to walk around, admire the Salt Mountain Range formations, and take photographs. The contrast between the mountains, the desert floor, and the landscape's varied tones makes Vallecito an ideal setting for photography.

We will continue to one of the excursion's most striking highlights: the famous Abandoned Bus, also known as the "Magic Bus." This old vehicle sits in the middle of the desert and has become one of the most photographed spots on this route.

Before heading back, we will enjoy a snack while taking in the desert scenery. Then, we will begin the return journey to San Pedro de Atacama.

We will conclude the excursion with a drop-off in the center of San Pedro de Atacama.
