Upon completion of the Live And Breathe YTT200 Program, you will recognise an internal shift.  An empowerment  to move forward in your life with more clarity, confidence, courage, love, and happiness.

This program will encompass all aspects necessary to become an educated and confident yoga teacher.  While the course will focus primarily on Ashtanga method, we will cover numerous other methods and required topics such as :

About this course

This course is designed to be comprehensive and educational.  To cover thoroughly what is needed to truly possess the knowledge and skill to lead your futures students with confidence.  We will be completing seminars, lessons, and practises on the following.... 

  • Pranayama and meditation techniques
  • Introduction to asana and creative sequencing
  • Vinyasa yoga and Hatha yoga postures

What's unique about our program

  • We appreciate and  honor human connection with nature and Mother Earth.  We approach yoga as a means of exploring and deepening this connection.
  • The basis of our program supports the knowing that the  learning process is not linear.  Our teaching model incorporates group discussion, hands-on experimentation, experiential learning, and instructor support and feedback.
  • Our lead values all students' learning process as both somatic and intellectual, offering rest and / or movement breaks throughout the day to encourage integration of the material.
  • The program and lead value spiritual growth and personal development as a part of the yoga teacher training experience. While this is an intensive learning environment, it is also an opportunity to be impacted by yoga on a deep level.
  • We pride ourselves on  emphasizing safe and accurate anatomical cuing to support the longevity of your and your students' practices.
  • We are open to and encourage modifications, adaptations, and the use of props to share yoga with all body types and needs.

The Five Principles Of Practice

Practice is everything. In this training, everything starts and ends with the practice. When you get that right, when you commit to it, the theory, techniques, and methodology all flow naturally. 

If it does not challenge you, it does not change you. When you come to this training, expect strong classes, challenging poses, clarity in teaching, and a supportive environment where transformation is expected. 

Balance is the greatest goal in health. Everything in this training integrates mind and body, breath, and movement, nervous system balance, and nutrition to help you live the best life you can. Balance in all aspects of health is your ultimate goal. 

Food matters. To practice yoga without intelligent nutrition is like trying to run uphill with rocks tied to your ankles. Food is the biggest variable in your health, and you will be taught a non-dogmatic approach to nutrition-based on modern science and real-world application. 

Be your own guru. In daily classes, there is no chanting, chakras, or incense. Coco B Wellness believe fitness science should be taught and spirituality should discover, personally, and individually. They reject group-think and dogma, and respect each individual as both a student and a teacher in their own right. They are a secular organization and welcome people of all faiths

Live And Breathe Ashtanga Teacher Training ~ Online Program

It is important that students be available no less than 5 minutes before a class is scheduled to begin.  Because we are in a virtual classroom, it is especially important that students be focused, on task, present and prepared.

Below is an example schedule.  Students will receive their first week schedule upon registration, and their second week schedule mid way through week one.

  • 06:30 - 08:00 Mediation / breath work and morning yoga practice 
  • 08:00 - 09:00 Meal break
  • 09:30 - 12:00 Morning workshops 
  • 12:00  - 14:00  Meal break 
  • 14:00 - 16:30 Afternoon workshops 
  • 16:30 - 18:30 Afternoon yoga practice, pose breakdown, and practice teaching 
  • 18:30 - 19:30 Meal break
  • 20:00 - 21:00 Occasional evening activity and moonlight meditation / breath

This was a really unique experience, Lisa and Addy were great hosts the food was fantastic, the site was beautiful. Jesse was a great teacher, his online support course is very good and he taught me lots and exposed me to some very valuable learning resources (for future learning). The one caveat would be that this was an off grid experience so if you are not up to roughing it the off grid experience may not be for you. I would definitely recommend any trip that Lisa is organizing.
