Today we start our drive in the early morning to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is an attractive viewpoint and the most popular destination for paragliding in Nepal. A paragliding flight from Sarangkot will take you across superb Himalayan scenery, as you fly beside vultures, eagles, and kites and float over scattered villages, grand monasteries, temples, lakes, and forests. If you want to paraglide, you do not need to have experience, as the qualified pilots will provide you with a full briefing.
The paragliding harness is designed for comfort and safety. You can sit back, take pictures, and enjoy the freedom of flying like a bird. Paragliding in Nepal is a seasonal sport; the flying season in Nepal commences in November and runs through to February, the best months being November and December. You can have different varieties of flights, such as Tandem flight, Cloud flight, Cross valley, Acrobatic, etc., as different levels of amusement. It takes about 30 minutes of paragliding down to the Phewa Lake landing spot. Today we will be boating in Phewa Lake. Later on, we will visit the Peace Stupa in Pokhara.
