      About this trip

Blossom into Spring with an investment in your health! Join Dr. Abby Paloma, DACM in this 4-part series that will help you harmoniously transition into Spring with a guided body/mind cleanse, supported by the container of community.

In Chinese Medicine, the Spring season is associated with growth, renewal, and realizing your potential. Spring offers us a window to shake off any stuck, stagnant and sluggish energy from the winter months and reinvigorate the body and mind. This guided seasonal cleanse will help you tune up your diet, detoxify with healing herbs, and refocus your energy towards what you truly want to grow, all while staying grounded among the upward energies that spring “flings!”

Living with the Seasons: Spring Cleanse begins on Wednesday, April 12th via Zoom.

Each session includes a discussion, movement, meditation and breath practices inspired by the wisdom of Spring.

This series is accompanied with an optional purchase of an herb package of teas and tinctures to support your cleanse and growth this spring. No international shipping.

      50 reviews
SKY TING was created for anyone looking for tools and techniques to handle life more gracefully and see the magic in a long life lived. We offer a practice that refines our ability to stay connected, be well-adjusted, develop greater consciousness, discover radiance, use life to our own advantage, and ultimately experience more JOY! SKY TING YOGA is medley of lineages. All styles of yoga have something different to offer, and cross-pollinating yogic material allows us to create a method wholly new and unique, yet refined with rich substance and history. Our teachers are encouraged to blend the yoga material they practice, identify most with, and believe in, rather than sticking to the prescribed, generic curriculum. This ideology creates a passionate, responsive and nurturing learning experience for our students. Our goal is to make the practice safe and approachable for anyone, while keeping the magic of yoga alive. (212) 203-5786 INFO@SKYTINGYOGA.COM @SKYTINGYOGA

I had a great time on this trip, but have been on another yoga retreat (in Tulum) that felt more organized. I loved flowing with Francesca and Brian, but felt other aspects could have been better. For example, I have a gluten allergy and it seemed like none of the servers even knew what gluten free was- they kept giving me vegan meals. (Compared to my last trip in Tulum where the chefs and staff went above and beyond to make sure my food was prepared separately and given to me every meal). This made me feel like a burden to the group, even though I mentioned this allergy before going. In addition, I had to wait at the airport alone for 2 hours before the rest of my travel group arrived. I reached out to sky ting about not wanting to be at the airport alone for this long, but they didn't help me. I didn't feel safe alone at the Cancun airport for that amount of time, and if I knew ahead of time this would be the situation, I would have organized my own transportation. I know others had trouble with their airport shuttle too. In addition, it was a solid hour from when I landed until I was contacted by my driver (who spoke 0 english). The hotel was good for the most part, but they were weird about giving us more water (!?) and towels, and there was no storage for our clothing. Overall a great retreat and great yoga, but felt certain aspects could have been better organized.

We had a fantastic experience. the hotel was lovely and set amidst the Tulum Archeological Zone, which was a perfect setting for the yoga practice. the food was healthy, plentiful and tasty. the support staff were extremely accommodating. our yoga teachers, francesca and brian mixed it up in the classes in a delightful way and the yogis all seemed to get along like we were at summer camp! really enjoyable overall.

This was my first yoga retreat ever and it was simply wonderful. I learned so much from Kate and Krissy as well as from the other students. Each class was relaxed and fun and truly a joy. The location was awesome as well. I'm looking forward to my next retreat with SkyTing!
