If we are to really benefit from our yoga practice, we are asked to expand it beyond the time we spend on our mat, and into our life. This is the very intention of this retreat: to offer tools and knowledge with which we can evolve our Yoga practice into an inspired life of becoming more fully ourselves. A life lived in truth and peace.This retreat will hold space for such process: we devote our days to living according to Yogic principles as guidance for how to live our Yoga and not just do it. A bonus: we get to discover Istria- Croatia's most spiritual and nurturing region -rich with history, speckled with medieval towns, and surrounded by the healing Adriatic Sea.

Everything was perfectly organized. Dejana and Sanda are so warm, supportive, and inspiring — you could really feel how much care and intention they put into every class and activity. The venue itself was perfect: peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by nature that made it easy to slow down and reconnect.

Bilo mi je jako lijepo. Smještaj je bio udoban, čist i topao. Hrana ukusna i količinski dovoljna za moje potrebe. Dejana je sve to super organizirala a u isto vrijeme je bila nasmijana, dobre volje, topla i prekrasna. Ništa mi nije falilo ,,bila sam opuštena i ispunjena. Lokacija je odlična, mirna i nije daleko od mog doma. Sudionice , divne žene su dale cijelom tom događaju magiju koju mogu dati samo žene kad sjednu u krug i dijele svoje misli, osjećaje, želje, potporu, sigurnost, ranjivost, zahvalnost….

We had a beautiful morning, great cocoa to drink, gentle words to hear, beautiful sound of live Cellomano playing to listen and yoga practice for our body and mind. Just perfect. Thank you Dee!

The journey to Peru was breathtaking! Absolutely amazing! It was more than I could have ever imagined. 
The leadership and grace with which Dee brought our group together and guided us with her intuitive powers was impeccable. The combination of yoga and the ancient wisdoms of the Andean knowledge was fascinating and compatible in every sense. The choice of the accommodation at the Samadhi Yoga Center was amazing. Being a vegan, the hosts went out of their way to service all my needs. The quality of the food was amazing, since they mostly grow it in their garden on the land. The extra activities offered by Samadhi were amazing as well and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to everyone eager for learning new skills and with the thirst for adventure. Every day brought an amazing experience just to be topped by the following day's one. The last leg of our trip took us to the peaks of the mountain Asangate which was outstanding in every way. I learned to love horseback riding, saw the most beautiful nature which will stay with me forever. My heart is full and forever grateful for this trip which I consider to be the life-changing   journey of my life. Thank you Dee!

This was an incredible experience. The location is stunning -- a beautiful, calm, and joyful retreat center amongst the farmlands of the Istrian peninsula. The host, Dejana, was lovely and accommodating. The chefs were top-notch. The retreat itself and the community was (of course) pure love. As always, David and Jelena were irreproachable teachers. If you have the opportunity to join a retreat here -- do it!

Ashtanga Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat

We had a very comfortable stay at the retreat.
The retreat program and John and Julia teached us very important perspectives in yoga and meditation practices.
We also enjoyed socially both them and the other participants at the retreat and the staff of SuperSoul Yoga.
The food and the accomodation was very good, and we very much would like to return to this retreat in the future.

The trip exceeded all my expectations. The accommodations were beautiful, inspiring and dreamy. The vegan chefs were creative and dedicated and whipped up amazing meals with everything fresh and tasty including hot homemade bread every day! 

The area of Istria, Croatia is stunning with so much to see and do if you can tear yourself away from the retreat. 

David and Jelena are one of a kind Ashtanga teachers who bring excellency in their teachings and provided a week full of learning and inspiration. 

And last but not least, our host Dee worked tirelessly and coordinated everything so seamlessly to ensure we were taken care of in the best ways possible. 

I really hope to return some day!

Thanks for the wonderful weeklong workshop with David and Jelena. It was a well-organized and fun event. I learned so much as I always do whenever I have the opportunity to study with my teachers. I’m grateful that I was able to add additional afternoon sessions in Zagreb despite not having booked them ahead of time. The organizers allowed me to sign up last minute, which I greatly appreciate. On the whole, it was a great success!
