on a trip to the Lofoten islands in Norway

On this trip, we will show you a place that you likely would never see on your own. The Lofoten Islands are some of the most remote and beautiful places in the world. These islands experience extreme weather which can provide for incredible photo and video opportunities to capture the northern lights and winter landscapes unlike any scene around the world. On this adventure you can expect to gain an understanding of how to capture the magic of this beautiful place through photography and video. Matthew and Tyler will share their skills on-site during expeditions and also host daily educational workshops.
Whether you're interested in increasing your knowledge and skills in video and photography, or simply wanting to explore the most beautiful parts of the world, this will be a trip of a lifetime!
What’s included
- AccommodationsWe will be staying at Hattvika Lodge where each participant will have their own private room. At Hattvika Lodge you’ll have access to their restaurant, sauna, and hot-tub.
- Pickup and drop-offWe pick you up at Evenes Airport and start our three hour drive to home base. And we'll return you to the airport on the final day.
- Expedition TransportWe'll provide 2 vehicles for our daily expeditions.
- On-site tutoringWhile on our expeditions, we'll assist in answering questions and guiding to capture the most incredible imagery.
- Daily WorkshopsEvery evening we'll host Photo and Video workshops on technique, technology, and gear.
What’s not included
- Air TravelYou will be responsible for transportation to and from Evenes Airport
- Food and BeverageThe lodge has a restaurant on-site, and we'll stop at markets and stores for provisions.
- Private InsuranceWe highly suggest purchasing travel life insurance and gear insurance.
- FeesYou are responsible for any taxes, duty, or any fees rated to your entry to Norway or domestic travel as well as covid-related tests.
