We're back in the United States for The 9th Annual Lounge Family Meet & Greet in Houston, Texas! If you've never been on a Simply Amazing Meet & Greet here is your chance! No passport is needed and it's just a hop and skip for most of us! 

Everything is bigger in Texas and this meet & greet will be no different! This is a full weekend trip scheduled for Thursday, July 18th, 2024 through Monday, July 22nd, 2024.  This is going to be a fun-filled weekend with Facebook's closest family, The Lounge Family, and some friends 😉

Like the Simply Amazing Lounge Family Meet & Greets of the past, we have you covered! From your accommodations, some food, some drinks, transportation, and of course a weekend full of events! You can rest assured this will be a time you will always remember in the best ways!

All you will need to do is book your flight and show up! 

We will stay at a brand new 4-star hotel in Med Center Houston.  This hotel is 20 minutes from Houston William Hobby Airport,  30 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and just 15 minutes from Downtown Houston.  

Your stay will include complimentary daily breakfast, a complimentary shuttle within a 2-mile radius of the hotel, complimentary wireless internet, a heated outdoor pool, and free pool cabanas.

We recognize that some people live in Houston and may not need the extras included in the package.  We are offering a ticket to the Meet & Greet Only as an option to book.  It is important to understand this is a two-day package to attend the welcome cocktail hour on July 18th, 2024 & 9th annual Lounge Family Meet & Greet on July 20th, 2024 only.  This does not include the hotel stay or any of the other activity extras included in the full package.  At the welcome cocktail hour, you will get your ticket to attend the meet & greet and your meet & greet tee shirt.  

You are still subject to the deposit, scheduled payments, and cancellation policy.  

 The purchase of Travel Protection or Insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment just in case "what if " happens.  It is better to have insurance and not need it than to need it and not have it!

Make sure you purchase a "Comprehensive Plan" if you would like to add your flight to your insurance later. If you have a pre-existing condition, many plans require purchase within 1-21 days of making the deposit. Also, check if you have a "Cancel For Any Reason" policy which also requires purchase within 1-21 days.

All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable - What that means is if you cancel your trip you will not get a refund for your deposit.  If there is a roommate replacement on your reservation the deposit will not be applied to the replacement roommate reservation.  The replacement will need to pay a new deposit. 

All remaining payments

Reservations Cancelled before January 15th, 2024 are subject to a 100% refund less the deposit.

Reservations Cancelled after January 15th, 2024 are subject to a 75% refund less the deposit.

Reservations Cancelled after February 15th, 2024 are subject to a 50% refund less the deposit

Reservations Cancelled after March 31st, 2024 are 100% nonrefundable.

If there is a roommate replacement all payments outside of the deposit are transferable from the original reservation.  If there is no replacement for the cancelation it is subject to the above refund policy.

If there are not enough attendees to fulfill the trip at the group rates we have been provided by 12/1/2023 or this trip is canceled by the organizers for any reason you will have the option of a full refund of any monies paid including the deposit or our trip being repriced with the number of confirmed attendees we have.  

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our contractual agreements with hotels and multiple vendors will not allow us to obtain refunds after booking to guarantee our group rates. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS OFFERED AND STRONGLY ENCOURAGED

Making Payments 

Payments are not automatically drafted from your card or account. As a courtesy, you will receive automated reminders of your scheduled payments. It is your responsibility to log in and make your scheduled payment by the due date. 

If 2 payments are missed without communication to the organizers your reservation will be cancelled. 

If your reservation is not at least 50% paid in full by 4/1/2024 your reservation will be cancelled.

Cancellations & Changes 

Any changes and/or cancellations must be in writing. Any changes to your reservation should be sent via email to loungefamilymng2024@gmail.com or via WeTravel by sending a message to the organizer. Do not assume your change or cancellation has been received if you send a message via Facebook Messenger. Facebook messages can be missed or lost. 

It is understood that life happens and changes may need to be made and we will do what we can to accommodate your request. Please understand we are at the mercy of the suppliers and vendors being used to make this trip happen and are locked into the contracts they executed. 

Deposits and Final Payments 

Deposits for the trip are being accepted until October 1st, 2023 to secure your spots on this trip. 

Your Payment is due in full no later than May 1st, 2024.

Your reservation will be auto-canceled if your reservation is not paid in full by 12:01 AM EST on May 2nd, 2024. There will be no exceptions to this deadline. 

All payments and deposits are applied toward your reservation to secure your spot on this trip. 

All deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable - What that means is if you cancel your trip you will not get a refund for your deposit.  If there is a roommate replacement on your reservation the deposit will not be applied to the replacement roommate reservation.  The replacement will need to pay a new deposit.

Check Payments and Returned Checks

For your convenience to avoid credit card processing fees we are accepting checks as a form of payment. 

If for any reason your payment is returned by your bank there will be a $35 return payment fee accessed to your reservation. 

The payment will need to be made up within 7 days or before the final payment due date (whichever comes first) to keep your reservation. Failure to make up the payment within the mentioned deadline will result in the cancellation of your reservation and subject to the outlined refund and cancellation policy. 

Activities and Events 

Participation in the events listed in this itinerary can only be purchased from the organizers of the group. Please note that if you do not purchase the full package you will not be included in activities booked for the group.  

This package can not be broken up or separated in any way not offered in the package pricing. You only have the option to purchase the full package or the meet & greet-only packages that are offered. 

Roommate replacements and name changes will be accepted through June 1st, 2024. At the cost of a $150 deposit. After this date no changes can be made to the reservation. 

WeTravel, Simply Amazing Experiences, LLC, and SAE Travels do not store any financial or sensitive user data on WeTravel servers. User data such as credit card numbers, bank accounts, or SSNs are immediately and securely transmitted to our payment provider with bank-grade SSL encryption. Our payment provider in the US is Square (www.square.com), one of the world’s largest payment providers, used by many large internet companies such as Facebook and Twitter. WeTravel, Simply Amazing Experiences, LLC. and SAE Travels do not have access at any point to the user’s financial data. 

Payments by credit card will incur a standard 2.9% transaction fee for Visa/Mastercard or 3.9% for AMEX. There are no fees for ACH bank account payments/Check Payments. ACH transfers will not post to your reservation for 5-7 business days.

1. If booking for more than one person and using a discount code you will need to make each reservation separate so you each get the discount code you are applying.

You will make your way to your arrival airport where a shuttle will be waiting to transport you to our event hotel.  Once you're all checked in the festivities begin right away. 

In the evening once all of us have arrived a Welcome cocktail hour will be scheduled.  You can have a few cocktails, grab an Hors d'oeuvre, and most importantly mix and mingle with the people you will spend the rest of the weekend with.  Lots of them you haven’t seen in a year or more!

At the welcome party, you will receive your tee shirt, swag bag and get details for the events taking place throughout the weekend.

Meal Inclusions: During the welcome party Hors d’oeuvres and 2 cocktails.

Day 2 will be a fun field old fashion Texas Lounge Family Hoe Down! We will head to the ranch to get our black cowboy on! 

During this event, you will have the opportunity to horseback ride with a guide, if you are unable or opt out of horseback riding you will have the option of an equine experience that includes grooming and feeding the horses.  

We will also have a field day of games throwing horseshoes, stick horse racing, nerf gun duels, lasso the 'bull', and corn hole! 

In the middle of the day, we will have a deluxe lunch experience catered by one of Houston's most popular restaurants right on the ranch. 

****You must be 240 pounds or under to horseback ride. You will still be able to participate in rodeo day just excused from the horseback riding portion of the day. You can also choose not to horseback ride as your preference.

Today will be what we've all been waiting for! The 9th Annual Lounge Family Meet & Greet will be a rooftop event! If you've never been to a Simply Amazing Lounge Family Meet & Greet you are in for a treat! 

There will be drinks included, delicious Hors d’Oeuvres, The 2nd Annual Loungie Awards andddd a special performance! Not to mention music playing all night long to get your dance on by one of the top DJs in the area!

Meal Inclusions: Breakfast at the hotel. Hors d’oeuvres and open bar during the meet and greet event.

We will wrap up our amazing time in Houston with an all-white boat party.  This will be a sailing-only event with drinks, food, and music! We will mix, mingle and take pics in our all-white reminiscing on the weekend we had in Houston.

Meal Inclusions: Breakfast at the hotel. Light foods and cocktails during the activity.

This will finish our trip and we will all prepare for our flights home.  Airport transportation will be available for your pick-up to drop you off at your respective airport.
