Our intention is to hold space for you to arrive just as you are, and leave feeling more alive than ever. Your five night adventure includes: daily yoga (variety of styles), guided meditation, intention setting, guided journaling, connection, community, exploring mother nature, laughter, love, and LIGHT! We will be visiting the Blue Lagoon, the Golden Circle and embracing what it means to truly live a life you love! This unique experience is here to support and encourage your personal growth. Melissa Moffet is a mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and dance educator who teaches clients, classes, workshops, and retreats around the world. Through her online mindfulness and meditation courses, her podcast, Air & Earth, and her in person classes, Melissa inspires her community to trust the flow of life and to love boldly while living with integrity and using their gifts and resources to benefit others and the earth. Melissa is originally from Tennessee, but is currently spending much of her time traveling the United States and abroad. Melissa is also passionate about nature and has a master’s degree in environmental engineering. Melissa loves spending time with family and friends, cooking yummy vegan food, and cuddling with her big dog, Forrest.
Melissa’s mission in life is to love herself, love others, and love the planet and inspire others to do the same. Melissa’s classes are a sweet combination of mind, body, and soul. You can expect a mixture of practices and activities like meditation, visualization, breathing, tapping, journaling, body movement, dance, singing, and more that will leave you feeling free and connected to the power in your heart and your connection with the people and world around you.
Meet Mikaela - a yoga teacher and lover of life based out of Vancouver, BC. Mikaela has always been inspired by and drawn to mindful movement. Gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading were a big part of her life growing up, and her love for Yoga started during her university years. Mikaela quickly became captivated by all of the layers of this practice: breath, stillness, movement, expression, connection and community. Practicing became a beautiful self love ritual, and a daily opportunity to expand and evolve.
Mikaela completed her training in Costa Rica, and went back a year later as a teaching assistant. Mikaela offers a creative, passionate, and supportive style of teaching. She has taught workshops in Canada as well as the United States, runs an annual yoga retreat in Costa Rica, and continues to inspire others both on and off the mat via her Instagram account (@mikmill).
A $500 USD Non Refundable deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full. The remaining balance is due August 10, 2019 (a reminder will be sent two weeks prior to the due date). Failure to make payment by August 10, 2019 will forfeit your spot on the retreat. Monthly payment plans are also available - please refer to FAQ for more information. A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of your booking.
Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so. You will be provided with instructions on when to arrive/depart along with travel agent details to assist you with your flight booking (or you may book your flight on your own).
An information package will be sent 30 days prior to departure and will include the retreat schedule, recommended packing list and trip details.

1. Who can attend this retreat?
Our retreats are for everyone! It doesn't matter what your age, gender, race, weight, height, flexibility and level of experience is - the practice of yoga is for every single being. New to yoga? We all have to start somewhere and retreats are the perfect space to start and/or grow your practice. Don't worry about how advanced others may be and remember this journey is yours, take all the time and be patient with yourself. If you're new, let us know so we can make sure our teachers are prepped to assist you.
2. I've never travelled before and I don't have anyone to go with. Can I come alone?
Yes!! Before you go, we are here to guide you and get you prepared as much as possible for this retreat and travel experience. With us, you're never alone! We set up a group chat to communicate with one week prior to the retreat to check in and update each other as you start your travel from where ever you may be. We'll pair you up with a roommate, who will most likely end up being a lifelong friend. You may come alone, but you'll end up leaving with a community of like minded people who will forever be connected through this experience.
3. What do I need to pack?
30 days before your retreat, we'll send you a guide of what to pack and bring.
4. Why is travel insurance mandatory?
This is to protect you in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
5. Do you offer monthly payment plans?
Yes! Once you've paid the deposit amount, the remainder of your balance can be split and paid by the remaining months left until the full balance is due. For example, if the total retreat is $2,000 and you pay your $500 deposit in November - starting from January to June (6 months) you can pay a monthly fee of $250 USD.
