We chose TreXperience because of the reviews. We also like TreXperience as they offer women opportunities in a predominantly make world. Our tour guide Sara was a knowledgeable passionate Quechua guide. She was fantastic and became a friend by the end of the trek. She made us feel special and called us Warriors as we were hiking Salkantay and the Inca trail. Sara helped my wife as she got altitude sickness above 14,000ft. Sara carried her pack until we got to about 12,000ft. She was wonderful and kept us focused on the journey. Our cooks Cernovio and Javier were fantastic. The food they prepared was delicious, nutritious and meals were never repeated. They could be a chef in any 5 star restaurant. Everywas delicious but the Pisco bananas flambé was amazing!! Our horseman, Wilber was also amazing running up steep mountains to keep the horses and mules aligned. The porters Porfideo, Oswevio, Bassilleo, Florentino, Gabriel and Marsellino carried our gear over the steep Inca trail with pride. Some of the porters have traverythe Inca trail over 700 times, amazing. Prior to beginning Delta lost our luggage containing our camping gear. We considered canceling the trek. TreXperience iffered to provide the camping gear for free, a wonderful company. Our luggage arrived the day prior to the trek. We highly recommend using TreXperience.

To be honest, this ticket just to hicke this one mountain was definitely too expensive for $ 75. I was already there with my inca trail group, so I did not understand, why I had to book a ticket that also includes a tour. Because I didn’t get an extra one. Also you need to be back from the mountain within 2 hours. These were the most expensive hours of my life.

We were lucky to have Sutta as our guide for the Inca Trail. He is a passionate and knowledgeable guide who made us live an extraordinary adventure. He told us the history and culture of the Incas with a lot of details and enthusiasm. He was always smiling and attentive to our needs and questions. He accompanied us with a lot of caution and kindness, motivating us and helping us to overcome the difficulties. It is thanks to him that we were able to fully enjoy this beautiful and unforgettable trek. He is a guide that we will not forget and that we strongly recommend to anyone who wants to do the Inca Trail.

Our transfer was there when we arrived at the Cusco airport. Nice car and nice driver. No problems. Satisfied.

Indeed, we had a wonderful time during the 4 days Salkantay Trek. We were lucky with our guides José and Sarah, two persons who did a wonderful job. The environment was great, the food was delicious, the organisation was top. So thank you to our guides, but also to the cooks and the horsemen! The only thing we liked less, was the repetititive hint to give a good tip at the end of the trail. It is obvious that we give a tip to those people, but there was not more opportunity to do it spontaniously. And to be honest, the price of the trek (we did it as a 7 persons family) already is quite expensive, also without the tip of 10%. Bt as I said: the Salkantay trek was an unforgettable experience!!
