Depart San Juan for your international flight to Paris! Meal service on-board. 

Welcome to Paris! Upon arrival, meet your local guide and board the private motorcoach for the city. Upon arrival, begin your guided panoramic city tour. See the magnificent Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Elysées, the Trocadero, Les Invalides, Palais du Luxembourg, the Opera, the Pantheon and the historic Latin Quarter. Continue to the Ile de la Cité to see the Conciergerie and the Palais de Justice, and the Gothic masterpiece, Notre Dame. On to the Jardin des Tuileries and the stunning Place de la Concorde with its 3,300-year-old Obélisque from Luxor.  D

This morning, proceed by metro pass to the Louvre for a self-guided visit with audio. The Louvre, the largest museum on earth, was originally constructed in 1200 as a fortress. In the 17th century, it served as Louis XIII’s palace. After the French revolution, the palace was opened as a museum and its fabulous collection was rightfully made accessible to the public. Among the priceless art treasures to see are the beautifully proportioned Venus de Milo, Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the Winged Victory of Samothrace.. Transportation by metro pass. Enjoy dinner with your group before ascending to the third and highest level of the iconic Eiffel Tower to take in panoramic views of this beautiful city. Dinner at a local restaurant. B, D

After breakfast, travel to beautiful Mont St. Michel for a full day guided tour. Enjoy the Unesco World Heritage Site that is surrounded by sand and sea and often called a “Wonder of the Western World.” Towering atop this rocky islet between Normandy and Brittany is a spectacular and well preserved Norman Benedictine Abbey, which we will visit. The Mont is also home to a medieval village that grew in the shadow of its great walls. Free time to enjoy the sites, and grab lunch on your own, perhaps the most famous dish on the mount, an omelette cooked over an open fire at La Mere Poulard! Return to Paris. Dinner at a local restaurant. B, D

Visit the Musée d’Orsay with audio. This beautiful museum, once a railroad station, now houses a staggering collection of Impressionist art, as well as other items created between 1848 and 1914. This afternoon, take the metro to the Catacombs for an included visit of this veritable labyrinth in the heart of underground Paris. The Catacombs were installed in the tunnels of former quarries. In the late eighteenth century, when major public health problems tied to the city’s cemeteries led to a decision to transfer their contents to an underground site. Enjoy a dinner cruise on the Bateau Mouche tonight.  B, D

After breakfast, enjoy free time for French class and/or a French student interaction to be arranged by TSA Tours. This afternoon, make your way to the famous arts district of Montmartre. Walk through the cobblestone-filled streets and appreciate the bohemian atmosphere. Dinner at a local restaurant.  B, D
