✳︎ Any cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of monies paid plus the cost to wire refund in order to cover MAGA Heritage Tour’s administrative costs.

✳︎ All monies paid within 60 days of departure date, 50% of payment is non-refundable.

✳︎ Paid within 30 days of departure date, 100% of payment is non-refundable.

✳︎ All balances will be due 30 days before trip date.

NOTE: There will be a $100 late fee charge if the remaining balance is not paid one month before the trip date.

Today, you arrive to the Motherland. Airport pick-up will be provided to your accommodation @ Thalys Spa Hotel or Similar. Settle in, relax and enjoy the new environment.

Accra: The Capital City
We will start our day with a hearty breakfast.

Then, we visit Kwame Nkrumah Museum to learn about the emancipation of Africa and this great man's involvement.

Afterwards, we will visit the museum and resting place of the great Pan African writer and civil rights leader Dr. W.E.B. Dubois.

After our visit, we will stop for a traditional lunch before going shopping at Accra's biggest art market.

Tonight we will experience Accra's night life together. With a few surprises.

Boti Waterfalls & Umbrella Rock
Today, we journey to the Eastern region of Ghana.

Enjoy the beautiful twin Boti waterfalls flowing from the Akuapem mountains. Bring your sneakers and prepare to walk and climb through the mountains and caves to see the Umbrella Rock and Wonderful Three-Headed Palm Tree.

Cape Coast Slave Castle & Kakum National Park
Today, we journey to the central region to visit the Cape Coast slave castle where it all began. Guides will take us through the dungeons where slaves were kept to await the ships. After, we will pass through the "door of no return" where slaves exited and left their homeland. Today, the "door of no return" has been commemorated as the "door of return" to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken.

We will also visit the Kakum National Park. Kakum is a preserved rain forest with a canopy walkway that is suspended 30 meters above the ground on tree tops.

We will have a beach side lunch and be treated to a cultural display.

River Boat Cruise
Take a relaxing cruise and enjoy the beautiful scenes, fauna and flora of the Volta river. It's going to be right under the Adomi brigde and straight to the Akosombo Dam

Today we relax and check out the beautiful Aburi Botanical Garden.

Also, remember to pack your best swimwear and enjoy the afternoon at Labadi Beach.

My cousin and I booked M.A.G.A Heritage tour for our first trip to Ghana December 2019. From the time we booked until the time we left Ghana Kwame and his team made our trip one to remember. The payment process was very easy and professional. Kwame kept in contact with us weeks before our trip to assure us all is well and to answer any questions we had. This made us feel more comfortable to travel across the world for the first time. I highly recommend this tour as it was like no other in every single way. We even planned to return in 2020 but then there was that COVID thing that got in the way. But nonetheless we will be returning soon. I traveled to Ghana in July of 2018. I had the most amazing experience there with my group thanks to Kwame. He is the best he really made us feel comfortable and took care of us. We had such a great experience that we are going back in May of 2020. It was strange, and great to experience a place for the 1st time and have it feel like home. I can't wait to go back! If you're thinking of going to Ghana GO WITH THEM. They are very trustworthy and will make it an experience you'll never forget.
