At 9:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Santa Marta to go to the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. In this park, which was an old hacienda, Simón Bolivar died in 1830. We will tell you its history and, in addition, we will contemplate the main monuments of the farm, among which the Altar of the Homeland stands out.

We will continue our tour of Santa Marta in front of the Eduardo Santos stadium, at the entrance of which we will see the Monument to Pibe Valderrama: one of the best Colombian soccer players in history. The next stop will be at the Taganga viewpoint, where we will enjoy beautiful views of the Caribbean coast.

From the viewpoint, we will go down to the coast to tour the bay and the port of Santa Marta. The route will continue in the historic center of the city, which is home to such outstanding places as the Parque de los Novios. Do you know why it has such a romantic name?

Afterwards, we will head to a centrally located restaurant in the city to enjoy a delicious typical Colombian lunch. The menu includes a delicious cojinoa fish dish accompanied by coconut rice, patacon and salad - a real delicacy!

After lunch we will finally return to your hotel in Santa Marta, where we will arrive at 3:00 pm.

Dinner at hotel

We will pick you up at your hotel and leave Santa Marta for a few hours to discover Minca, a small town located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. It will take us 45 minutes to reach our destination.

After leaving the vehicle, we will visit the Miga bakery, where you will have the opportunity to taste different types of bread and chocolate, the star product of Colombia!

Next, we will go to "Café Costa" to learn about the coffee elaboration process. An expert barista will explain the origin of this product and will prepare cups of excellent quality coffee, a delicacy for the palate!

The next stop of the excursion to Minca will be the tropical forest. Here you will enjoy a natural spa in the Gaira River, where we will discover the techniques of natural hydromassage. We will have time to take a dip in the turquoise waters before enjoying a gourmet lunch at Casa Cristi.

Afterwards, we will leave the Sierra Nevada to explore the town. Once in the town of Minca, we will head to the Kakaw museum, which specializes in cocoa. Step by step, we will learn how cocoa beans are transformed until they reach the tables of millions of homes. You will love it!

Finally, we will return to Santa Marta. There, we will accompany you to your lodging to conclude the excursion.

Dinner at hotel

We will pick you up at the hotel early in the morning and head northeast. After an hour and a half drive we will arrive at Tayrona Park, located between the Caribbean Sea and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Once there, we will start the activity with a talk on environmental conservation, and then we will be ready to go into the trails through the rainforest.

For two hours, we will walk alongside trees over 25 meters high and discover some of the species that are part of the rich ecosystem of the Tayrona National Natural Park. In addition, if we are lucky we will be able to spot iguanas, howler monkeys, ocelots, anteaters or solitary eagles.

We will reach the Caribbean coast and walk along the beaches of Cañaveral, Arrecifes, Arenilla and La Piscina, the most idyllic enclaves! Then, we will continue to Cape San Juan del Guia. Did you know that this is one of the most popular spots in Tayrona?

There you will have free time to try the local gastronomy in one of the restaurants. Afterwards, we will go to the viewpoint of Cabo San Juan to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Colombian landscape. 

Finally, we will return to Santa Marta. There we will accompany you to your accommodation to finish the excursion eleven hours later.

Dinner at hotel

We will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Santa Marta Marina to board a sailboat that will take us to Concha Bay. Let's go there! 

Once we are all on board, we will make a one and a half hour crossing to our destination. On the way, we will enjoy the coastal scenery bathed by the Caribbean Sea. Doesn't it seem like sailing in paradise itself?

When we arrive at Concha Bay, you will have an hour of free time to relax on the beach and paddle surf. You will also be able to snorkel and contemplate the seabed of this part of Colombia. It will be quite an adventure!

After free time enjoying the water activities, we will get back on the boat for lunch consisting of grilled fish with salad, rice and patacones. After lunch, you will have free time again until 3:40 p.m., when we will start our return trip. 

We will finish the tour returning back to Santa Marta Marina at approximately 5:30 pm.

Free morning, breakfast and check-out from the hotel and at the agreed time, the transfer will begin to take the flight to Bogota, with this, we end our services. We hope to see you again soon!
