We're straight heading to the magic of Madagascar on this one. Think lemurs leaping through technicolor rainforests, sapphire shores that have tales of pirates journeys from long ago, and chameleons that switch outfits faster than an influencer. Madagascar is a living, breathing wonderland. This trip is about raw adventure, unexpected encounters, and stories you'll tell around campfires for years to come. Itinerary
Day 1
We've just finished an epic adventure through Madagascar in Antananarivo so today you can enjoy a bit of a sleep in. In the afternoon get a good lunch and coffee before we board our evening flight to Mauritius.
Wake up to the sound of waves washing on a sandy shore. After a solid breakfast and a slow morning we'll start our excursion to trek down the secret valley of the Chamarel Waterfall. the tallest single-drop waterfall in Mauritius at about 100m high, the Chamarel Waterfall is a striking piece of nature standing amid dense vegetation. Fed by the waters of three distinct streams pouring into Saint Denis River, it has a powerful rush with a peak flow rate in excess of 40,000 m³ per minute. Well head back to the resort in the late afternoon for a of beach volleyball, a beer and catch our first sunset.
Another day in paradise. Today we're spending it at sea with a day packed full of snokeling on the lookout for turtles, coral and scores of tropical fish. As we make our way around the shores of the island we're pretty confiendnt well see pods of dolphins and if we're semi-lucky we'll see sperm whales. Throw a shore lunch in there with some cold drinks and this is basically a perfect day.
Today there's nothing planned... but that doesn't mean there isn't anything to do. Mauritius is home to the famous "Underwater Waterfall". You can take a plane to see this amazing optical illusion of a giant waterfall floating down into the oceans abyss. If you feel like don't something more active there are still plenty of hills to climb to take in stunning vistas of the islands prestine coastline. Or if you just wanna relax by the pool with a bevy in hand, we won't judge ;)
What a trip! We can fly out of Port Louis airport anytime today.
Arrive in Antananarivo at any time today. We will have a trip briefing at 6pm in the hotel lobby (all that info will be in your welcome pack, don’t worry). Then dinner and some Madagascar drinks to get this trip started in style!
