About your trip

10 nights/11 days

Welcome to Magical EGYPT! This trip is going to blow you away!

We start in Cairo by way of Giza, home to the world-renowned pyramids and the Great Sphinx, followed by a visit to Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt. Prepare to be amazed at the colossal statues and creations of the ancient pharaohs! Then we hop a quick flight to Aswan from where we will tour the temple of Abu Simbel to see elegant antiquities of the great King Ramses. Next up a 3 day cruise on the mighty Nile up to Luxor visiting many important sites including the Valley of Kings and some Mummified Crocodiles! We then head to a Hurghada resort on the beautiful Red Sea for some much needed rest and relaxation with options for additional excursions. But we aren't done just yet! After some time to rest, we head back to Cairo and visit old Cairo! One of my most favorite places of Egypt, where there are beautiful markets, and remnants of just about every major ruling empire including the Ottomans, the Romans, the Greeks, and also influences from the Crusades.

Egypt Specific Info

Price:

Based on double occupancy. If you wish to have single occupancy this can also be arranged! The single occupancy is listed under the Trip Add-Ons!

Heatlh:

I please urge you go get comprehensive travel insurance that covers medial expenses as well as any issues with trip cancellation/interruption.

I personally use World Nomads. But there is also Safety Wing, MedJet, and others.

Safety:

Egypt is quite safe and is a top tourist destination!  However, as when traveling in any foreign country it is always advisable to be aware of your surroundings and make smart decisions. But we will be in GREAT care with Yasser. I can attest to that.

Wherever I go, I always register with the U.S. Embassy. It allows notifications of any events and allows the embassy to be aware where of you in the country! Always a good thing. Check out the STEP program

Currency:

Egyptian pounds

However USD are widely accepted!

Credit cards are accepted in major areas, check with your guide to assure authenticity.

Immunizations:

Please refer to CDC website and your doctors discretion.

Culture:

Egypt is a predominantly Muslim country. There are no women working in hotels, restaurants, cruise ships or transportation. That is the culture. That means you will interact with a lot

of men during our tour. They are friendly and like to joke and flirt with women. Please don't take offense if someone offers you five camels - or more! - to marry them.... It is a friendly joke and not at all serious. They may tell you that you are as beautiful as Cleopatra, or that they are

King Rameses and they want you to be their Queen Nefertari. Their intention is to flatter you, and have fun. Please know that bus drivers, guards and tour guides will offer you a hand or arm getting on and off buses, or climbing on the pyramids or elsewhere. This is strictly to help

you. If you are uncomfortable with it, just politely decline. That being said, if anyone does anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, (not expected!! but just in case...)like invading your personal space, touching you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, or suggesting

something inappropriate, by all means SAY NO and make your boundaries clear.

Attire:

Cool(lightweight) and conservative

Women will need to have heads(scarves), arms, and legs covered for entrance into mosques/religious areas

Be sure to check the weather ahead of time! Egypt is in the same hemisphere as us, so similar seasons but different climate.

Regular bathing suits are OK for resorts and other hotel pool areas!

Water:

Don't drink the tap water in Egypt. Bottled water is available everywhere; make sure the caps are unbroken.

● Use bottled water to brush your teeth.

● Don't open your mouth in the shower.

● Don't get ice in your drinks!!! Ice in many places is made from tap water and should be avoided.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that you need to cancel your trip, these fees will be applied:

● Within 120-90 days of travel:  Full deposit.

● Within 89 and 60 days of travel: 50% of tour price.

● Within 59 and 31 days of travel: 75% of tour price.

● Within 30 and 1 days of travel: 100% of tour price.

If you've ever wanted to see Egypt, I cant imagine there is a better person to see it with than Yasser Omar our amazing guide. If you can, you must see this amazing and warm country. You aren't too young and you aren't too old for this trip. Also don't wait to have someone to join you - the world awaits. Trust me, you'll never feel alone or nervous and everything will be handled for you from the moment you step off the plane. I can't recommend this country and these guys enough! I'm missing Egypt, and the wonderful friends I made along the way. ❤️❤️

BEST TRIP EVER!!!!!

I just got back from my 10 day trip to Egypt ,  they made everything so simple and organized. Nice clean hotels, yummy meals, tours, Nile cruise, sights, shopping - it was all planned out for us! I saw and learned so many amazing things that I would’ve never thought to do if I planned this trip on my own. We had the best tour guide in the world, Yassar! He went above and beyond to make this an incredible experience for us. He’s very passionate about what he does and is so knowledgeable about Egyptian history. I felt very safe the whole time there. If you visit Egypt then you HAVE to use Yasser`s trips, I honestly believe that you won’t find a better tour company. I’ve traveled all over the world, but this is my favourite trip by far thanks to Yassar ❤️

Amazing Experience!!!

Our vacation would not have been half as exciting if we did not have a tour guide as experienced and friendly as Yasser. He showed us around both new and old Cairo as well as the pyramids and even though it was an unbearably hot day, he conducted the tour professionally and did not rush it. This trip to Egypt will be etched out in our memories forever.

Approximately 30 pharaohs contributed to the buildings here, creating a complex unlike any other.
