We've chosen to do our Humanitarian project in the beautiful and Serene Mau Mountains/Forest of the Maasai. Though the Scenery is stunning, the poverty is very real. We'll either buy some animals to deliver to some families or buy some school supplies to deliver to a school.  There are other options as well.  The funds we'll use are included in your adventure package price.  

This is where The Lion King unfolds right before your eyes!  The big 5 are here: Elephants, lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and rhinos.  There are also giraffes, cheetahs, hyena, hippos, crocodiles, elands, gazelles, warthogs, meerkats, and more!  It's authentic and 100% raw!  WIth almost four full days you're sure to see a LOT of animals and have a very high chance of witnessing a river crossing!  All it takes is one brave wildebeest to start across the Mara river and 100's or 1000's will follow!  With 1.5 million wildebeest in the Mara at this time, our chances are very good!  While we're out here, we'll take the opportunity to step into an authentic Maasai Village where you'll get the chance to hear some singing, see some more jumping, and go inside a dung hut.   

Your last day, we'll get up early and drive back to Nairobi.  Then we'll visit the Elephant orphanage where you can pick which elephant you'd like to adopt for the year and follow along with their progress (the Fee is INCLUDED in your price).  Afterwards, we'll head to feed the giraffes. These are the EXACT same giraffes from Giraffe Manor, just without the enormous price tag.  After breakfast they go into the backyard of the manor to get even more food (they eat all day long)!  This is where they'll find us ready to feed then and have some photo ops :)
