REST: Unwind in Our Cozy Accommodations

• Wood-Fired Wellness: Access to our Electric Powered Sauna, Wood-Fired Hot Tub, and Cold Plunge is included. (Self-managed for your convenience).

• Digital Detox: Each lodging is equipped with comfortable spots for connection, board games, fires, puzzles, and art supplies. Just bring the pals.

• Optional Upgrade: Schedule an in-house massage with one of our sought-after retreat Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs). (See optional add-ons below).

PLAY: Explore the Mid-Coast

• Local Hikes: We'll provide directions to our favorite, crowd-free winter trails.

• Charming Towns: Explore the best suggestions for crowd-free exploration in Damariscotta, Camden, and Rockland. Our small businesses truly appreciate your patronage during these slower months.

In-House, Farm-Sourced Provisions:

• Snacks for Dinner: A gorgeous, abundant grazing board, hearty enough for dinner. ( per guest, delivered at pre-check-in).

• Saturday Breakfast Provisions: A basket with all the fixings for a delicious breakfast at home, featuring our own Tops'l Treasures breakfast items and other local provisions.

• Private Raclette Dinner: Available most weekends December 19th-March 31st. All the magic and provisions of our Raclette Dinner dropped off at your lodging: house-made bread, house ferments, local vegetables, house charcuterie, and raclette cheese from Morse's Sauerkraut.

Odd Alewives. Our local farm brewery just minutes from the farm. Check out their weekend schedule. Their pizza is wonderful, local and enjoyed either at home or in their cozy dining room.

Legal Terms & Considerations

Many of the experiences at the farm are adventures in the woods and as such require an adventurous spirit and the understanding that they are inherently risky. With that said, please review the following:

• By visiting Tops'l Farm (VENUE), you as the GUEST agree to the following during your stay (EVENT):

  Farm on Bremen Road LLC, (DBA TOPS'L FARM) is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of any articles or property left at the VENUE prior to, during or after an EVENT. The GUEST agrees and accepts responsibility for any damage done to the venue owned by TOPS'L FARM by the GUEST and those in the guest's reservation (guest invitees).

  The GUEST agrees that TOPS'L FARM shall not be liable for any suit, actions, claims, loss, damages, expenses, injury or casualty of any kind to any person or property occurring at or in the vicinity of the VENUE, whether occurring before, during or after the EVENT. The GUEST as a material part of the consideration for this contract, hereby waives all claims and demands against TOPS'L FARM for any such loss, damage, injury or casualty.

  GUEST further agrees to indemnify and hold TOPS'L FARM and its staff and hired vendors free and harmless from any and all liability for any and all such loss, damage or injury to property and other persons, and from any and all costs and expenses arising therefrom, including but not limited to attorney fees.
  
  

  Photo Permission: GUEST also grants permission to take and use photographs and/or digital images of me for use in news releases and/or marketing. if you do not wish to have your likeness used in this way, please reach out to us directly.

This is a quiet time on the farm. We are excited to share in this stillness with you. Please know that the Maine Winter Weekends are an entirely self-directed and prearranged moment on the farm. Our summer energy requires so much that we are cultivating a bit more intentional stillness - and invite you to do the same. Here is what this means specifically for your weekend:

Check In. We have created a seemless system for you to arrive at your time after 3 pm on check in day. All instructions, codes and directions will be sent to you 1 week in advance. The lights will be on, the fireplace stocked - ready for your relaxation. Emergency numbers will be provided with our lodging information. 

Food/Beverage Deliveries.  If you ordered anything in advance of your stay, these will be delivered prior to your arrival, complete with all items, instructions and any equipment needed to cook. 

Wood Fired Spa/Hot Tub/Cold Plunge. We will have this stoked and ready to roll Friday afternoon and then again Saturday morning. It will be up to our guests to keep the communal flames going throughout the weekend. Signups for a private hour session - otherwise it will be a communal experience if other guests are on property.

Fires/Wood: You will be stocked with inside wood (if appropriate) and outside wood for epic winter fire pits! See here if you need a tutorial!

Food Restrictions

If you have dietary restrictions please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate for your drop off provisions.

December Stays

During these beautiful December dates, our amazing team will be hibernating and nesting in the holiday spirit — which means all accommodations during this time are DIY.We’ll make sure you have everything you need for a warm and cozy stay, including guidance for lighting fires and enjoying the sauna — all without us onsite.

Kids

Kids of all ages are welcome.

Dogs  

Well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee of $75. Limit 2 per house.  Please add "dog fee" if this is applicable to you. We ask that animals do not go on the furniture and please leave no trace on the property.

Cancellation 

Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another name.  Cancellation requests for any reason (outside of severe weather explained below) submitted within 30 days of reservation date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded. Within 14 days of your arrival date: sorry but no refunds given, no exceptions.

Severe Weather 

If unforeseen severe weather impacts the ability of our guests to travel to the farm for the weekend stay, a credit will be provided for a future stay at the farm.

Friday Afternoon/Evening:

• 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Arrive at your chosen Tops'l Farm property at 3 pm or later.  Settle in, unpack, and admire the cozy winter charm.

• 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM:  Don't forget to pat yourself on the back for the delicious grazing board you had ordered that will be waiting for you and delivered right to your house prior to arrival, featuring local cheeses, our own house charcuterie, and other treats. Add wine/beer/NA drinks and we will have that delivered too! What more do you need!

• 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM:  Unwind with a soak in the wood-fired sauna or hot tub, followed by a refreshing dip in the cold plunge.

• 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM:  Head into town for a lively Friday night dinner at the Waldoboro Inn, or Odd Alewives, enjoying the local atmosphere and delicious handmade pasta. 

Saturday:.

• 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Wake up to the most peaceful morning in Maine. Prepare a delicious breakfast using your Tops'l Treasures breakfast basket and other local provisions. Sip coffee slowly. Linger by the fire. Catch up with your loved ones. 

• 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM:  Embark on a scenic winter hike. Tops'l Farm will provide you with directions to their favorite local trails.

• 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM:  Warm up with a visit to Morse's Sauerkraut in Waldoboro. Explore their unique selection of fermented goodies and pick up some provisions to enjoy that day (or better yet to bring home and have the joys of the weekend linger longer!)

• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM:  Explore the charming towns of Rockland/Rockport/Camden/Damariscotta...or Belfast if you are looking for a drive!  Browse the local shops, art galleries, and perhaps visit a restaurant who has committed to stay open during the winter months - give them your love! They are employing our neighbors, our kids, our community - your support during the chilly months means so much.  ❤️

• 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM:  Return to your accommodation and indulge in a relaxing in-house massage with one of Tops'l Farm's skilled therapists. Icing on top - a post massage sauna? If you would like to schedule a cocktail class, local tea tasting/foraging class or have a group tarot reading - just let us know! We are happy to connect you with some of our amazing Maine collaborators and create a private workshop just for you. As a reminder this might take us a little bit to coordinate - so book as soon as you can so we can make this happen for you!
  5:00 PM - 7:00 PM:  Enjoy a cozy evening in. Play board games, work on a puzzle, or gather around the fire for conversation and connection.

• 7:00 PM: If you've chosen the Private DIY Raclette Dinner option for this night, enjoy a feast of melted cheese, local vegetables, house-made charcuterie, and all the fixings
  
  Sunday:

         9:00 AM - 10:00 AM:  Enjoy a leisurely breakfast (raclette fritatas are the BEST!) and a final soak in the hot tub or sauna.

• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM:  Pack your bags and check out of your accommodation.

• 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM:  On your way home, stop at a local spot for lunch - a wonderful time of year to enjoy some of our most popular spots that are hard to access in the peak summer months!

Additional Notes:

• This itinerary is just a suggestion, feel free to customize it to your own preferences and interests.

• Be sure to book your preferred accommodation and any add-ons (like the Raclette Dinner or in-house massage) in advance.

• Dress warmly and in layers, as Maine winters can be unpredictable.

• Don't forget to leave your stress at home. Be present, take the slower pace this weekend has to offer, stay in bed all day if that is what you need!
