About this trip
Norway is a paradise of exuberant nature like few others in the world. Its orography is unique due to the presence of the iconic fjords, impressive glacial valleys that were invaded by the sea when the ice receded, and that in some places reach more than 200 kilometers inland, finding large mountains and even glaciers.
And as if this weren’t dramatic enough, the countless waterfalls that cascade down the towering cliffs create a landscape worthy of science fiction movies.
If we add to this that it is a country with a very small population, the result is kilometers and kilometers of spectacular virgin landscapes or only occupied by some brave peasants, heirs of the Vikings themselves.
It is truly a country that you have to explore at least once in your life!

Our experience with Horizon Cycling exceeded all of our expectations of personal guided travel. The trip planning with Pau to create an itinerary that highlighted the best opportunities for us to enjoy the beautiful people, places and culture in a fun, well paced way laid the foundation. Once we arrived we were in the competent and friendly hands of Alba who took great care of us managing all the logistics, introducing us to delicious local restaurants, and just being good company. This was a trip of a lifetime that we will always cherish and Horizon Cycling was a big part of it!

Great trip. I was a non-cyclist. Pau took care of everything, ordering the food at the restaurants, awesome accommodations, and great recommendations on massages or things to do while the cyclists were gone. He even arranged for a local chef to come into the condo and cook a Girona-style Thanksgiving dinner~it was awesome.

This trip was great. This was my 2nd trip in 4 months with Horizon's Cycling. I think Pau does a great job of showing the highlights of the area where I have booked my trip. It was great to be in his home area this time and see how well connected he is in Girona and also the knowledge of the area.
I will be booking another trip in the future.
Pau was great in keeping us safe (I broke a spoke and changed plans due to the rain coming), introducing us to great food and local treats. He helped us book a private chef, massage, and museum tours.

I still can't wipe the smile off my face, what an amazing week on a bike. Pau and Petra were fantastic guides and exceeded expectations to make sure we had an unforgettable trip - and we certainly did that! Amazing routes, remarkable food, impeccable lodging, and breathtaking scenery around every corner. Horizons Cycling takes care of it all.....just show up ready to ride and have an awesome time. Already looking forward to the next trip!
