The yoga on each Lacuna retreat blends modern techniques and traditional lineages, all while working within a familiar framework of Vinyasa “flow” based classes. While the yoga classes may feel familiar, many of the techniques and teachings are a refreshing change from the status quo. The teachings in Lacuna classes pull from Vinyasa, Hatha, and Katonah Yoga®, a practice steeped in Pranayama, sacred geometry, and Taoist theory.

The yoga retreat in Mallorca was exactly what I needed this year. It was an experience I will never forget. The villa where we stayed was absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. One of the highlights was the hike we went on, it was challenging with stunning views and the perfect way to connect to nature and fellow retreaters. We visited different beaches, each with their own view of paradise. Jess and Megan are the most comforting and wonderful humans. Their warmth and kindness added a special touch to their expertise in yoga. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcomed and supported. Their passion for wellness and yoga is truly inspirational. I cannot wait to attend another retreat and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a balance of relaxation and adventure.

BOOK THE TRIP. You won’t regret it.
Megan + Jess are not your average yoga instructors. They know how to have a good time and don’t take themselves too seriously — but when it comes to teaching, they bring something truly special. Their approach through Katonah Yoga is unbeatable. It’s not your typical, repetitive flow class. It’s intentional, transformative, and, honestly, what kept me coming back twice a day.
From start to finish, the trip was nothing short of exceptional. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I can confidently say I loved every single second — from the stunning Relais Regina Giovanna to the dreamy boat ride to Capri, the private beach, and even the “hike” along the Path of the Gods to Positano.
It felt like I got to experience everything I could possibly want, all in one magical place.
• Wild farm animals greeted us on the walk to yoga every morning and evening.
• A tranquil, private beach was just a short walk from the hotel — perfect for a peaceful escape.
• A stunning garden became my favorite spot to sip coffee each morning.
• The views were endless, especially from the gondola ride to the top of Capri.
• Kayaking led us to a hidden swimming hole.
• And the food? Absolutely unforgettable. From lemon soda and limoncello to meloncello, gelato and authentic Italian dishes made with fresh, farm-to-table ingredients — every bite was a love letter to Italy.
What truly tied everything together? The people. I’ve never seen a group come together so effortlessly — a beautiful mix of souls from all walks of life. We laughed, shared, practiced, and connected in ways I didn’t expect but will always cherish. I belly laughed, cried, made someone else cry (love you, Caitlin) and heard some powerful stories from some badass individuals I am lucky to know.
I left a piece of my soul in Sorrento and I don’t regret a second of it.

Transformative! Whatever your expectations, you will be dazzled by the unexpected. I had never practiced Yoga. My body thanked me every day... I joined a Yoga studio three days after returning home! The "Hotel" is a Relais- a countryside estate on the Mediterranean. The hotel chefs use fresh ingredients grown on the estate... authentic, clean and healthy southern Italian cuisine. The staff couldn't be more attentive. The private yacht tour of Capri was 5-stars... And let me end with my gratitude to our tour organizers, Megan and Jesse. I will be joining another of their future tours!

Perfectly produced from the opening credits to the final scene., this exquisite adventure was above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The joy, laughter and love shared from our sunrise yoga sessions to hiking the Path of the Gods and yachting to Capri will grow until the next time. I found my people, in paradise and shall return. Meg and Jess are a true inspiration.
