Manaslu Circuit has recently opened a Tea house trekking in the isolated Himalayas. Normally it can do a minimum of 11 days to above, but here we design 11 days trip for those trekkers who like to explore the Himalayas in the shortest amount of time. For this Trip, you need to be physically fit and mentally well prepared. Some days you need to walk 8 to 9 hours, which is more than average walking in a day. It could do just Camping organize trip last a few years back but recently there is basic Teahouse entire trip.
Manaslu Circuit Trek is a combination of culture and religion, which is a unique trip among a number of trekking trails in Nepal. If you are able to add some days then you may visit Sacred Tsum Valley as well, the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek can complete in 23 days trek. This is itself a restricted area and opens in 2007 for trekkers.
Mostly, you will stay in Lodge and have food in the same place (Dhal Bhat=main Nepali food, Fried rice, Bread, Boiled and fried eggs, Potato, Noodles, porridge, tea coffee, etc.)
We would like to inform you about Manaslu Trek; you need a minimum of 2 people in a group for this trip, requiring special permission for the Manaslu Restricted Area (provide by only the Government Register Trekking agency) and at least you need one Government License holder trekking Guide. For this trek, you need 3 different permits, which are following below:
[I] MCAP (Manaslu Conservation Area Project) Trekking,
[II] ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permits,
[III] Manaslu Restricted Area Trekking Permit
While organizing those permits, the immigration officer asked for your Nepal visa which is validated for the entire trip, and your original passport with 4 copies of PP size pictures of each of you. To make those permits, it takes almost whole one day to make a different office.
If anyone would like to single room it will cost 5 USD per person each night an additional cost.
If anyone would like to private porter then, it will cost 20 USD per day an additional.
There are regular buses/jeeps available in Kathmandu to Machhakhola at the begging of the trip and at end of the trip from Dharapani to Kathmandu. However, if you wish to use a private Jeep Kathmandu to Machhakhola, the cost will be USD 200 to 250.
Normally, it is not possible to solo trip such a restricted area trek. You need to be minimum of 2 people in a group, led by government register professional Guide through the authorized trekking company. However, there are chances to do a solo trip also, if you can bare ghost permits (buy two permits for the Restricted area). Then you will provide a personal guide who helps to carry 5 to 8 kg of your bag as well. In this way, you can do a trip being a solo traveler on a budget way. If you are looking for a solo private trip to Manaslu Circuit, then you need to
In the morning our Guide will meet you at your hotel or according to the last day's meeting briefing and drive to Arughat Bazaar. You will drive along the Trishuli River through the Prithvi Highway to the Phurke Khola (two-kilometer before the Malekhu Bazaar) and cross the Trishuli river to the Dhading Besi. The road is good to the Dhading Besi and drives off-road to Arughat through the rice terraces and scattered houses in the countryside. You will get to Arughat Bazaar after a 6 to 7 hours drive and catch a jeep to Macha Khola for two and half hours to 3 hours another drive. Stay overnight at the tea house.
