Precisely – Bhimtang Valley trekking is a section of Manaslu circuit trekking route. And this section of Manaslu is loved by all trekking over Larkey pass in Manaslu. Bhimtang village is also in ideal location from different angle. The village is right at the bottom of Larkey pass. Trekkers can easily get to the glacier or jungle at one go. View of north face of Mount Manaslu is stunning from the tea house at the village itslef. Apart from 360 degree view of mountains from the village of Bhimtang – it is more like a heaven in earth.

When we talk about Bhimtang we must mention Manaslu circuit trek as Bhimtang is the first village after crossing Larkey pass. One can easily get to another side of Manaslu mountain range in a day trek from Bhimtang village. We will see traders transporting things over the pass carried by mules.

Best time to visit this trekking route is in the autumn and spring. In this short trekking you have so many things to see and very less time to consume the beauty, thus get it in the right time.

I suggest you to avoid monsoon (june & july), as the trail will have leeches on the route and clouds on the sky. Regarding the winter, it is up to you – if you are okay with cold temperature than the trek is still okay. Remember, the temperature might go below zero, in the morning and nights. 

Short trek to the base of Larkey pass and very close to mount Manaslu, Bhimtang valley Manaslu view trek starts from Besisahar. Besishar is also a start point for Annapurna circuit trekking.

After Goa, the next village is Bhimtang, here we get close to Manaslu and explore the surrounding before getting back to Tiliche on same trail. As a part of flexible itinerary, at the end of the trek we can drop you to Pokhara or Kathmandu as desired.
