Maras Moray Salineras and Chinchero half-day All-inclusive tour starts in Cusco in a private van, travels across the potato and wheat fields, and enjoys the fantastic view of the snow-capped mountains the Andes, and go back to Cusco just for lunch.
You’ll be collected from your hotel in Cusco city, or sacred Valley at 8:00 am. Then, travel by van with your exclusive tour guide to Moray, where you’ll explore the mysterious terraced circular holes on the ground, believed to be a vast agricultural laboratory used by Inca to experiment with plants. Afterward, drive to Maras town, a small village located on top of the Sacred Valley with beautiful doorways. You’ll also visit the approximately 3,000 small salt pools, where farmers are still harvesting salt using the evaporation system since Inca Times.
After exploring the Salineras, drive to Chinchero, also known as the “land of the Rainbow” or “land great of weavers.” Visit the Archeological sites, the colonial church, and the local textile center where local women explain the weaving process using natural ingredients. From here, drive back to Cusco, arriving around 1.30 pm, drop off at your hotel.
