At Bright Island Outreach, our mission is to provide free dental care to the people of the Caribbean and Central America.

Dental professionals, students, and non-dental volunteers deliver treatment, education, and preventive care in remote settings to children and adults with limited access to services. 

Students treat patients under the direct supervision of dentists and hygienists, who are asked to participate primarily as clinical mentors and educators. 

Each of our expeditions is accomplished with the permission and assistance of the department of public health. With a vision to transform lives and communities, B.I.O. provides opportunities for volunteerism, breaking down barriers to inter-professional collaboration among communities of healthcare professionals in the countries we serve. 

No dental experience is required to participate.
