Several routes lead to Mardi Himal. While the standard route begins from Kande and ends in Sidhing or Kande, an easier route takes you from Kimche to Kande via Ghandruk.


This trek can also be done as an extension to the popular Ghorepani Poonhill Trek or the longer Annapurna Base Camp Trek. One can begin this trip from either Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Trek Route

Mardi Himal trek itinerary starts and ends in Kathmandu. You will drive to Pokhara, the city of Lakes, from Kathmandu.


Your trek begins from Kimche and head towards Ghandruk, one of the picturesque villages in Asia. Mardi Himal Trek route goes past Forest Camp, High Camp, and Mardi Himal Base Camp.


The forested trail is left behind once you reach High Camp and your ridge-line adventure begins. The trail demands a few ascents and descents through rhododendron and oak forests. An easy descent from Low Camp to Kande marks the end of this trek.

Difficulty

The 7 Days Mardi Himal Trek is graded easy to moderate and is suitable for both novice and experienced trekkers. Anyone who is physically fit can embark on this trek.
