This pilgrimage tour will start from Fatima, to visit Shrines of Our Lady as well as overnight in Avila to trace the life of St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Our pilgrimage will continue in Lourdes, with Candlelight Procession and Rosary to our Lady of Immaculate Conception. Then to Oberammergau to watch the Passion “Play of the Suffering, Death, and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ“ in Bavaria Germany where local people since 1634 have been performing "The Passion" every ten years, nearly without interruption for over 380 years!  Over two thousand people will participate in the performance.  In a five-hour play, they will bring the story of Jesus from Nazareth! Our tour will end in Medjugorje, a small village in Bosnia and Herzegovina where Our Lady has been appearing since 1981. 

Departure from Pittsburgh International Airport, overnight flight to Europe, meals served on board the plane.

Upon arrival at Lisbon airport, we will meet with our driver and head to Fatima. First stop will be for a city tour & a Holy Mass in Lisbon! Time permitting, we will make a stop in Santarem – visit Eucharistic Miracle Sanctuary! Fatima hotel, dinner and optional candlelight procession on the same evening in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima.

Visit places associated with the apparition in Fatima. Tiny village Aljustrel, home of visionaries, pasturage at Valinhos where Our Lady also appeared and to the Cova da Iria, the actual place of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. In the evening participating in the prayer service (optional). Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Depart Fatima early this morning to travel eastward across Spain to Avila. While in Avila we will walk the narrow cobblestone streets of the city as we trace the life of St. Teresa of Avila. Visit will include the museum which contains relics of St. Teresa and her spiritual advisor St. John of the Cross. We’ll even have the opportunity to visit the Convent of the Incarnation. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Avila.

After breakfast & Holy Mass in Avila, we will depart fort for LOURDES. Upon arrival to Lourdes group will check in to a hotel, free time until the dinner. In the evening after the dinner walk to the shrine of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the prayer of the Rosary during the candlelight procession. First night in Lourdes. 

Tour of the Shrine, visiting the Grotto of Massabielle where the Blessed Virgin appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Tour will also include The Baths, The Basilica of Immaculate Conception with Crypt, Rosary Basilica, Church of St. Bernadette. The visit will then continue with the town Lourdes, the visit to all of the places associated with the St. Bernadette. Free afternoon until dinner and in the evening Marian Procession in Lourdes. 

Today after breakfast we will attend Holy Mass and then the rest of the day will be free for your devotions, visit the Baths, shopping, lunch and so on. In the evening, we will attend the Candlelight Procession to Our Lady! Back to the hotel, dinner, and overnight!

This morning group will leave Lourdes and France, flight to Munich! Upon arrival at Munich airport transfer to our hotel in Oberammergau area! Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau.

This morning we are heading towards the village Oberammergau. We will spend a little bit of the morning in the village just before the Passion Play first part. After the first part group heads for the dinner and tonight, the Passion Play second part will end at about 11:00 pm. Back to the hotel for last night in Germany!

This morning we are on a journey so typical for Europe! From Germany, we will get across Austria & Slovenia to be in Croatia’s capital later in the afternoon! Check in to the hotel in Zagreb, capital of Croatia since 1557, first time mentioned 1094! Dinner and hotel in Zagreb.

This morning we will visit Zagreb, the focus will be on the Cathedral dedicated to “Assumption of Our Lady into Haven” and then the Upper Town of Gradec. The same early afternoon our pilgrimage continues with the journey to Medjugorje. Across gorgeous Croatia, regions of Lika & Dalmatia! Early evening we are in Medjugorje, dinner and overnight!

On your first morning in Medjugorje- introduction to the history of Medjugorje & Apparitions!

Pilgrims will be visiting Bijakovici village; all six visionaries come from it; you will go up the Apparition Hill, Podbrdo, place where Our Lady first appeared.  In Our Lady’s messages, it was repeated many times how important is to come to mass where “we meet Jesus alive.” Messages of Prayer of the Rosary, Holy Mass, and Confession are the center of the evening program at St. James church. You will have a chance to climb the “Cross mountain,” Krizevac as local people know it, visit the “Blue Cross,” another place of the apparition of Our Lady! 

Farewell dinner in a typical restaurant, great local cuisine & wine – until we meet again!

Early morning transfer to Split Airport, flight back home, arrival same day!
