Course Outline: To learn how to address your client’s flexibility, strength and balance.We need a balance of strength, flexibility and rigidity for optimal movement.We will cover techniques that address strength / flexibility between; muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. This will help your clients to become more pliable and allow for stronger and healthier daily movements and athletic performance.There will be a strong emphasis on incorporating client movements; both active and passive into your treatments.
Course Goals: Learn effective approaches to help clients address their movement limitations, by providing customized treatments to meet their specific needs.This course will cover:
Joe Frazer
Joe has worked for the betterment of the field of Massage Therapy for the past 30 years as a practitioner, educator, and leader.
As a practitioner, his focus is on injury recovery, pain relief and sports massage.
Joe was the Spa Director at the Stonehedge Inn for 9 years, his focus was on providing high-quality bodywork, spa experiences and fitness programs.
After the Stonehedge Inn he was the Program Director for Seacoast and Salter massage programs. His goal was to help students become Massage Professionals that had strong critical thinking skills, a solid foundation of massage skills and great client communication skills.
Anna Gammal
Anna Gammal is the owner of Body n’ Beyond Massage Therapy and Wellness in Hopkinton, MA. With 25 years of experience, She has a strong commitment to enhancing the industry and sharing her expertise. Anna has established herself as a licensed massage therapist and a dedicated massage therapy educator.
Anna's passion for advancing massage therapy led her to teach various courses not only nationally but also internationally. These courses provide practitioners with the opportunity to learn high-level, hands-on massage techniques and valuable skills and tools. While also incorporating life coaching, students significantly elevate their massage practice and prolong their career span due to proper body mechanics and self-care awareness.
