Welcome to Family Dive Club's Summer Camp Registration. We know there are many summer camp options to choose from and we are thrilled you are interested in Family Dive Club's programs to enrich your child's summer experience. We are committed to providing fun, active, and engaging experiences where children gain knowledge and skills serving them long after camp is over.
Ages 12-17
Each weeklong fun-filled summer camp is open to students ages 12-17. Campers will make new friends, see old friends, have fun and have the opportunity to log 10 more dives and earn a variety of PADI Specialties. MASTER SCUBA DIVER RATING
Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you've spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.
Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver.
The path starts with earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification, followed by PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certifications). You also need to earn five PADI Specialty Diver certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.
Camp Time
Camp takes place Monday - Friday 9:00 to 3:00 with a brief graduation ceremony Friday at 2:30.
Camp Requirements
To enroll in the MASTER SCUBA DIVER PREP Camp you must...
- Be Open Water Scuba Certified
- Complete the required paperwork
- Complete this registration form
- Pay deposit
What else will campers do at camp
Campers will have the opportunity to log at least 10 supervised dives during the week at camp while they work towards their Master Scuba Diver rating. In addition, they will add new skills and greater self confidence in the water and have a whole lot of fun.
EXTRA CERTIFICATIONS THAT CAN BE EARNED
In addition to logging 10 more dives under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional, campers have the opportunity to earn additional Specialties. The specialties we will offer this summer at camp include Underwater Photography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air Nitrox, O2 Provider, Project Aware, Dive Against Debris, Search and Recovery, and Delayed Surface Marker Buoy.
