This open level 2hr vinyasa masterclass will begin with pranayama, mantra and kriya techniques that aim to create equal parts tapas (fire) and Saatva (equanimity).
We’ll then transition into a grounded and powerful vinyasa sequence and close with a meditative and deep savasana.
The goal is for the breath to become a meditation to create space from the inside out. This dynamic class blends many styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Bikram, Kundalini , Forrest, Katonah and Dharma yoga.
This practice is steeped in tradition and devotion but is also modern and accessible. Most of all, my goal is for students to connect to their own inner goodness. All levels are welcome.
*This class is for ALL LEVELS, the reason it's called a master class is because it's 2hr long and is a comprehensive class that includes, mantra, pranayama, kriya, asana and meditation. If you aren't familiar with some of these techniques please come and give it a try! It'll be enlightening and fun!
Basic Space London
I began my practice over a decade ago in an attempt to metabolize deep grief and to understand the human condition through my own. After countless hours of practice and self-study, I began to shed the protective layers of my personality. I found myself thinking less and feeling more. I know now that our true nature is to love and to move from a space of open-hearted compassion. I aim to get students back to this simple truth.
My classes weave Ashtanga, Kundalini Gosh and Katonah Yoga together to create a rigorous inward exploration of the self. I also use vedic meditation, mantra and kriya as tools to reach higher states of consciousness through the physical form.
My goal is for practitioners to leave with a stronger connection to themselves and to all sentient beings.
