Imagine sitting right on the beach, overlooking the vast blue expanse of the ocean, while you are sitting in silence, watching the sunrise from the beach, or sipping chai in the early morning by the ocean at our restaurant, allowing nature to clear your mind.
Only the gentle sounds of the waves lapping onto the beach and the wind passing through the palm trees will accompany your meditations.
No dogma, just stillness, some guided meditations, gentle morning yoga, and walks in nature are here to beckon you into your inner riches.
Take time to awaken your inner senses to your inner truth and spend time with yourself this weekend at Shambala, without distraction.
Detox on news and media for a few days, and digitally unplug.
If you wish you can hand in your cell phone or tablet at the reception when checking in.
(If you absolutely must, we ask that you keep any cell phone activity in your room if. You can rent a Modem for your personal use. The only Wi-Fi access is otherwise only at the Restaurant, but only available at Check-In and at Check-Out)
Instead, you will hear the gong of the temple bell, to call you into your inner sanctuary.

During the day we will have several periods of deep silence and then moments of deep sharing, soul-to-soul, and heart-to-heart.
After our silent meditation, you will have time to journal, allowing insights to come to your awareness through writing.
In the evenings we will chant and sing by the fire on the beach with each other, to connect with our voices and heart and the stars. (See the schedule below)
On our last day, we will go on a silent walk to Les Waterfall, close to Shambala to rejuvenate, dance, and frolic in the refreshing waterfall.
We follow a time schedule (see below), but within that framework, you are free to spend your time as you like. There are plenty of breaks.
There is also no particular methodology you have to follow when it comes to meditation - if you already have a steady practice just keep going whichever way works for you.

OPTIONAL DOLPHIN EXCURSION
IF YOU WISH, optionally you can book an early morning trip, on a traditional Outrigger boat to see the Dolphins early in the morning.
There you can enjoy the sunrise over Bali. We have an 80% chance of seeing the Dolphins, and just seeing the sunrise over the ocean is a gift to the soul.
The cost for 1 or up to 2 people per outrigger boat is a total of 350.000 RP.
Departure: 5:45 am from the Shambala Restaurant
Return: 8:15 am (in time for breakfast)

Please bring a notebook and a pen. There will be some writing periods.
A book is also a good idea, for quiet evenings.
Please bring swimming clothes for the ocean, the pool, and some shoes to hike to the waterfall.
