About this trip

Over eight days of discovery, we will uncork what makes Mendoza so special: tasting terroir-driven wines with one of Argentina's most celebrated wine regions, enjoying multi-course lunches overlooking the Andes, and learning to cook traditional Argentine cuisine alongside a winery chef. A full-day excursion into the mountains takes us to Aconcagua National Park and the dramatic Uco Valley, while a guided city tour reveals Mendoza's elegant plazas and vibrant dining scene.

Guests will arrive independently in Mendoza and check in at Diplomatic Hotel.

Maipú & Lujan de Cuyo

A refined introduction to Mendoza’s historic wine region, combining boutique wineries and exceptional gastronomy.

Bodega Alandes

  • A modern, boutique project focused on expressing terroir through minimal intervention wines, offering a personalized and intimate tasting experience.

  • The project is led by renowned winemaker Karim Mussi, one of Argentina’s most respected and influential enologists. With a strong vision centered on terroir, Karim has built his career crafting wines that reflect the purity and uniqueness of each vineyard.

Ruca Malen

  • A benchmark winery in Mendoza for food and wine pairing, set in a beautiful vineyard overlooking the Andes. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated 3 course menu, where each dish is thoughtfully paired with the winery’s wines, creating a refined and memorable gastronomic experience.

Catena Zapata & Mendoza City Tour

Catena Zapata

  • Founded by Nicolás Catena Zapata, this iconic estate is widely credited with putting Argentine Malbec on the world map. Housed in a striking Mayan pyramid-inspired winery in Luján de Cuyo, Catena is one of the most recognized names in South American wine, consistently earning top scores from the world's leading critics. Our tasting experience offers an up-close look at the wines and the vision behind one of Argentina's most important wine stories.

Independent Lunch

Mendoza City Tour

  • Later in the afternoon, we will gather to enjoy a relaxed city tour around Mendoza. Over 2 hours, we will visit Mendoza’s most iconic landmarks, plazas, and historical points, offering insight into the city’s culture and heritage.

Valle de Uco

Super Uco

  • A standout in the high-altitude Uco Valley, Super Uco is one of Mendoza's leading biodynamic estates. Their approach is rooted in sustainability and minimal intervention, letting the unique character of the valley's soil, climate, and elevation speak. Our tour and tasting here offers a fascinating look at what terroir-driven winemaking looks like in this region.

Alfa Crux

  • Set against a backdrop of open sky and vineyard as far as the eye can see, Alfa Crux is as impressive to look at as it is to dine in. The winery's bold, contemporary architecture is matched by an equally ambitious kitchen. We'll sit down to a six-course menu, each dish thoughtfully paired with wines that reflect the best of the Uco Valley.

Cooking Class at Lamadrid Winery

Guests will enjoy a hands-on cooking class guided by the winery’s chef, exploring traditional Argentine cuisine, such as:

  • Homemade empanadas (with vegetarian options)

  • Fire and grill techniques

  • Traditional Argentine barbecue

  • Regionalside dishes and flavors

All paired with a curated wine selection.

The experience includes a winery tour, cooking class, and full lunch.

Day 6

High Mountain & Aconcagua National Park

Today we leave the vineyards behind and head for the mountains!

We'll spend a full day winding through some of the most beautiful scenery in all of South America. From the waters of Potrerillos Lake, to the sweeping Uspallata Valley, and up toward the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, we'll have outstanding views all the way through.

We'll also make stops at the legendary Puente del Inca, visit Penitentes, and make our way into Aconcagua National Park for a short walk to the Horcones Lagoon...with the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere watching over us the entire way.

Midway through, we will gather for a traditional Argentine asado for lunch.

Return to Mendoza city after the tour.

Just Can't Get Enough

Piattelli Vineyards

  • Taste and tour at a well-known and well-regarded estate in Luján de Cuyo Known for producing high-quality Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, Piattelli combines a strong winemaking program with stunning vineyard and mountain views.

Familia Cassone

  • Taste and tour at a smaller, family-owned winery with deep roots in Mendoza's winemaking history. Cassone focuses on traditional techniques and small-batch production, offering an authentic, personal tasting that reflects generations of dedication to the craft.

El Enemigo

  • Founded by celebrated winemaker Adriano Senetiner and sommelier Alejandro Vigil, El Enemigo has quickly become one of Argentina's most respected labels. Our visit includes a three-course gourmet lunch paired with their signature wines in an intimate, relaxed setting.
