DAY 1 – Mendoza Wineries Tour
Welcome to Mendoza! Argentina’s main wine region and heartland of Malbec grape. It also has impressive mountains (like Aconcagua, climbers’ world known summit), outdoor sports such as adventurous rafting, and breathtaking landscapes.
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hostel for a half day tour to the Mendoza Wine Country. The tour is for a small group and with a bilingual guide.
During the day, you will visit two of the best wineries in the area where you will learn about their philosophy, the wine making process and even get the chance to taste some delicious locally produced Cabernet and Malbec, guided by our local wine expert! You will return to the hostel in the afternoon.
Duration: 4-5 hours.
DAY 2 – Rafting or trekking with rappel (passenger choice)
UPON AVAILABILITY. This activities have a minimum of 4 people for Rafting and 2 people for Mountain bike, if you travel alone or with only one person we will confirm this according to other reservations for your same date.
In the morning you will be picked up from your hostel for and amazing adventure tour. On the way you’ll begin to appreciate the scenery: lake, mountains, vineyards... Once in Potrerillos we’ll appreciate a beautiful stretch of water and within minutes we’ll arrive to the base. Ready for some adventure?
Both activities include all the equipment required, professional bilingual guide, and a personal accidents insurance. You will also get a bottle of water and a cereal bar.
After this adventure day, you’ll be transfer to your hostel to relax.
DAY 3 – High Mountain Tour
After breakfast, you will have a full day tour to the nearby Andes Mountains where you will enjoy some panoramic views and the impressive Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak outside Asia. In summer season, you can also enjoy a nice hike to Quebrada del Durazno at the base of Aconcagua, passing through Horcones Lagoon. Before returning to the hotel late in the afternoon you will visit Uspallata, Penitentes and Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge).
Duration: 10 hours approximately.
Make sure you take a winter coat or jacket even during the summer.
Day 4 - Mendoza
Unfortunately today is the end of your tour! gYou can choose to extend your travels purchasing any of the optional activities in Bariloche or our available offers in the rest of Argentina.
