      About this trip

Embark on a transformative pilgrimage deep into the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. Over the course of eight immersive days, you’ll travel deep into the territories of the Waorani and Achuar indigenous peoples, under the guidance of native leaders. Experience firsthand the leadership of indigenous men, participating with them, as they navigate their territories, nurture their communities, guide their families, and find their own path within the intricate tapestry of the Rainforest.

Take part in a series of shamanic ceremonies, including rituals involving tobacco, plant medicines, dream sharing, waterfall ceremonies, and visits to sacred sites. These ancient practices offer a window into the powerful, intentional way of life shared by indigenous men.  Participating in these practices, can foster an exploration of your own power as man.

Experience the depths of self-discovery and embrace the wisdom passed down through generations of indigenous traditions, as you engage in intimate conversations with our hosts, delving into the art of living in harmony with nature, an attunment with the rhythms of the natural world.

Join us on this unforgettable adventure of possibility amidst the beauty of the Amazon Rainforest. Discover anew the essence of who we are and our place in the world.

      Your Leaders

MARK FLASHEN  has worked in the field of transformational leadership and development for over 35 years.  He has coached and mentored hundreds of individuals and small business teams. He has also facilitated programs for Landmark Worldwide, a leading personal and professional growth, training and development company.  In December 2021, he went on his first Amazon Journey.  It proved transformative. He has since gone on to partner with Steve Torenten and three other leaders, forming a non-profit organization to work with the elders of Sharamentsa, a remarkable indigenous community, to create a School for Leadership.  This will be his 6th Rainforest Journey.

STEVE TORNETEN Leading transformative journeys in the Amazon has been a profound passion of mine ever since I received a calling years ago to venture into the enchanting magic of the rainforest and connect with our indigenous brothers and sisters who call it home. Cultivating a responsible relationship with indigenous communities grounded in principles of respect and reciprocity has been integral to my journey.

      Your Guide

Juan Fernando Duran is an exceptional guide in the South American Amazon, more like a beloved member of the indigenous community. His expertise spans history, and wildlife, from the Galapagos Islands to the Andes mountains and Amazon rainforest. As a devoted husband and father, his passion for nature preservation, and fostering bonds with indigenous groups shines through for our guests.
