Room rates displayed are PER ROOM for ONE PERSON. Each rate includes ALL of our cultural & footy activities and most meals (see "What's Included?" below for more). All 9 rooms in the house are first come, first served—and they’ll sell out quickly! The house hosts 6 bathrooms, meaning some rooms come with a shared bathroom. If you absolutely MUST have your own bathroom space, BOOK A PRIVATE ROOM EARLY!

For FFTs traveling on a budget

There are two 'Economy' rate bedrooms, both with 2 single (i.e. twin) beds and a shared bathroom between them. The get-in price, already less than half the cost of our top, 'Premium' rate bedroom, can be made even more economical by sharing the room with a travel buddy, partner, or fellow footy traveler who is also open to sharing a room. If you are traveling solo and are interested in cutting costs beyond this discounted rate, coordinate with a friend to secure this room plus an 'Add a FFT' package, or... let us know if you are open to being paired with another guest when checking out in the 'Notes to organizer'. Economy room packages sold out but wondering if there's still a bed available in one of them? Join the waitlist and email us (footytravelers@gmail.com) if you'd be ok getting paired with another guest.

For FFTs traveling solo who want the extra space

All rooms are open to booking, subject to availability. Rooms with one bed will not be occupied by more than one guest unless the guest booking a room also books an 'Add a FFT' package.

For FFTs traveling with a buddy or partner

There are 5 rooms suitable for couples or pairs who don't mind sharing a mattress (4 queen rooms, 1 king room). As these rooms are also available to solo FFTs, you will want to act quickly to secure one of these for you and your buddy/partner. The booking site displays the price for the room occupied by one person, but note that if you are traveling with a buddy/partner and want to share one of these rooms, you will also need to book an 'Add a FFT' package.

ABOUT THE CASA

'Casa Aventureros de Fútbol | 2026' is located in Coyoacan, one of Mexico City’s most historic and vibrant neighborhoods. In a location conveniently situated among culture, amazing street food stalls and coffee shops, and popular highlights like La Casa Azul, we'll also be in closer proximity to Estadio Azteca than most other top Mexico City neighborhoods. The house has nine bedrooms (most with private bathrooms), a full kitchen, peaceful patio and terrace space, and both indoor and outdoor communal space for us to enjoy plenty of cerveza and swap travel stories. There's also WiFi throughout the house for anyone who needs to check in on things away from the group as well.

WHY WE DO IT THE WAY WE DO IT

Footy Travelers was (were?) founded on a simple premise: that soccer (football, fútbol) fans have more in common as humans than they have differences as supporters of opposing teams.  It is in that spirit that we’ve crafted a trip featuring a shared house—one that, in this instance, we’re calling ‘Casa Aventureros de Fútbol’—to create a fun and intimate environment for fellow footy travelers to come together, experience incredible in-stadium and out-of-grounds moments together, and form long-lasting memories with friends new and old. 

AGE RESTRICTIONS

This trip is ideally intended for individuals 16 years of age or older. Guests younger than 18 years old at the time of trip must be accompanied by an adult.

BOOKING DEPOSITS

Deposits paid for a spot on the trip are non-refundable after September 1, 2026, and 2nd payments non-refundable after October 1. After October 15, 2026 (two weeks before arrival day), all payments made are non-refundable. That said, if you have paid and can no longer travel after a particular payment date, please contact us so that we can assist you in finding a solution.

We'll be settling into Casa Aventureros de Fútbol today. Depending on what time most folks get in, we can find our way to one of the many recommended bars or restaurants of Coyoacan.

There's only one way to get to know each other better than breaking bread together... doing it on a boat! We'll kick things off on the waters of Xochimilco, cruising the canals, while we sip cervezas, pulque, and margaritas. Side tours will be optional, so bring some extra cash if you want to pet an axolotl.

After some rest and recovery late afternoon, it'll be part sport, part spectacle as we meet up with our local guide to introduce us to the extravaganza that is lucha libre. We'll learn a bit about its history,  fan etiquette, and enjoy—you guessed it—some street food, beers, and local spirits before heading into the arena. There might even be a special surprise for you along the way!

This is the day you've been waiting for! The morning will be yours (you might need it after that incredible night out we just had), but come early afternoon we'll head to the Dia de Muertos Parade route, toward El Ángel de la Independencia (The Angel of Independence), near the 'start' end of the parade. But first... tacos!

Following the parade, we'll head south to Mexico's monument to futbol, Estadio Azteca, for the Club America vs Toluca match. Will there be more tacos along the way? Probably! There will most certainly be some refreshing micheladas!

More fútbol? More local culture? Of course—that's what footy traveling is all about! And our last full day together has it all.

After breakfast at the house, FFTs can feel free to explore their 'must-do' CDMX site. Some might stay local, wandering Coyoacan and experiencing the Frida Kahlo House (La Casa Azul) or the footy-themed Day of the Dead display outside the local government building bearing her name. Others may opt to explore farther off places like Chapultepec Park or the National Museum of Anthropology.

Come late afternoon, we'll head back to Estadio Azteca for our final match and group event of the weekend, Cruz Azul vs Leon, kicking off at 6 PM. Some years we end with a nice dinner, but don't worry—this match experience will be just as classy ;-)

They say "all good things must come to an end." We'd say, "...only until next time." As we say our goodbyes and try to piece together the foggy memories formed over all the mezcal and cerveza, we hope everyone will be reassured that the next Footy Travelers adventure is just around the corner, because so long as there's footy, good people, and a world to explore... we'll be there!
