Nestled within a secluded ecological reserve and community spanning over 300 acres of lush, vibrant jungle, Punta Monterrey Resort is located on the southern coast of Nayarit, just one hour north of Puerto Vallarta.
Prepare to nourish your body, mind, and soul with yoga, fresh local cuisine, nature exploration, and a variety of healing experiences.
Each morning begins with an energizing practice led by Amy. Her classes blend yoga, Pilates, and functional movement to awaken and strengthen the body.
Afterwards, you can choose to relax under a cabana or stay active by exploring nearby jungle trails, kayaking, or swimming in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.
In the evening, unwind with a calming and grounding yoga practice led by Lorena, designed to restore balance and prepare you for a restful night.

A $500 deposit is required to reserve your spot and is non-refundable
Cancellations made on or before September 30, 2026 (with full payment completed) will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable $500 deposit per person
Cancellations made between October 1 and December 31, 2026 (with full payment completed) will receive a 50% refund, minus the non-refundable $500 deposit per person
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after January 1st, 2027

Embark on a guided hike through lush jungle trails and rolling hills overlooking the stunning beaches surrounding Punta Monterrey. This immersive trek offers breathtaking views, diverse flora and fauna, and a chance to connect with nature. The hike typically takes between 1.5 to 2 hours and is suitable for most fitness levels.
Enjoy an evening of sacred connection and presence through this heart-opening ritual. Gather around a bonfire by the ocean as we share ceremonial cacao, an ancestral plant medicine traditionally used to promote emotional openness, reflection, and connection.
This gentle and grounding practice is an invitation to slow down, be present, and connect—with yourself, the group, and the natural world surrounding us. As we sip cacao together under the night sky, we honor ancient traditions while creating space for intention, gratitude, and shared experience.
A traditional healing ceremony led by a local Shaman. Part-sweat lodge/part-sacred ritual, participants have reported feeling physically, emotionally, and mentally healthier. Once inside, hot volcanic rocks are placed in the center, and water is poured over the rocks to produce steam. Herbs, typically sage or copal, are added to aid the cleansing process. The Shaman will lead you through spiritual chanting and offerings of gratitude.
This mile long hike will take you to one of the most iconic places around Punta Monterrey called clay beach, where you can find natural clay in a beautiful setting. optional longer hike addition to the Buddha statue, this longer version is a 4.5mile loop that can take about 2.5 hours.
If conditions are safe and the tides allow it, we might be able to swim inside the tide pools, although sometimes they are covered with sand or the current might be too strong so we can't guarantee this activity will be available during our stay.
