About this trip

The Mexico Wonder: Mérida trip is a 3-week experience in one of Mexico’s most vibrant cultural destinations — Mérida.

We’ll be working from Mérida — balancing productivity with exploring the city, discovering Yucatecan culture and food, and experiencing the local lifestyle.

On weekends, we’ll head beyond the city to visit Chichén Itzá, one of the world’s most iconic Mayan archaeological sites, explore the Ruta de los Cenotes, swimming in some of the region’s most beautiful natural pools, and discover Las Coloradas, famous for its surreal pink lagoons, flamingos, and surrounding mangrove reserve.

Overview

📍 Colonia Centro, Mérida, Mexico

You’ll fly into Mérida International Airport (MID), the city’s main international airport. From the airport, Colonia Centro is approximately 10 km away by road, and the drive takes around 20–30 minutes depending on traffic.

Our house

We’ll be staying in Colonia Centro de Mérida, a well-located area close to some of the city’s most popular spots, including Paseo de Montejo, Avenida Colón, and Barrio de Santiago.

Our house has a pool, shared spaces, and outdoor areas where you can work, relax, and hang out with the group. You’ll also be close to many restaurants, cafés, shops, and local spots, making it easy to explore Mérida and experience the city at your own pace.

The Cathedral and Zócalo are approximately a 5-minute drive away.

Confirmation and Cancellation Policies

Your spot is secured with a $500 deposit — this officially holds your place while we bring the group together
A trip is confirmed once we reach 7 members or 60 days before departure, whichever comes first.
If the trip does not reach the minimum number of travelers, you’ll receive a 100% refund.

  • Once the trip is confirmed, the $500 deposit becomes non-refundable. You’ll receive an email confirming the trip as soon as it’s officially locked in

This allows us to confidently move forward with accommodations, logistics, and all the details that make the experience special.
For full details, please review our Cancellation Policy.
