Excellent training. Dava’s knowledge and experience from both physical therapy and yogic perspectives weaves together a comprehensive approach to alignment in one’s asana practice as well as day-to-day activities. Invaluable information for myself and to share with others. Thank you, Dava!
Dava is really knowledgeable and she works really hard to transfer her knowledge and passion and the place was really nice, it invited for 6 of us to connect with her and with what we learned during the entire weekend. I loved being in an small group, it create such a powerful experience. The only thing I can think to improve is to get meals and stay toguether on the same place overnight.. I think it will be such a powerful experience if we can even spend more time toguether. I will follow Dava on my path of Yoga ♥️
I don't even have the words to express the gratitude and blessing this training has been. I enjoyed every minute with Dava - the love, passion and knowledge is so powerful. She is such a kind and loving individual that blesses everyone she meets. This training was more than what I expected and learned so much! I recommend it to seasoned yogi and to a beginner - its the wealth of knowledge and love that you gain from this experience. It truly is wonderful and I miss the vibes everyday!!
Dava was an amazing teacher and really knowledgeable with anatomy and injury prevention. The level 1 was amazing and inspiring for anyone, even if you didn’t want to be a yoga teacher. It was a life changing experience. I’m looking forward to completing my level 2 with such a special teacher training program! So thankful to be a part of this tribe of these beautiful and strong yogis led by a fantastic teacher! Thank you Dava!!
I cannot say enough good words about Dr. Dava Nichol and Med Flow Yoga. Dava's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training completely transformed my life. People say those words all the time so they sound trite, but it's completely true. I came home a new person, a new passion discovered and my life headed in a completely different direction. I loved learning about yoga poses, alignment and sequencing from a teacher whose program is rooted firmly in science, anatomy, and body mechanics. Dava is passionate about keeping people healthy and safe in their yoga practice, and, as a physical therapist, her understanding of the body runs very deep. However, this was so much more than a journey into understanding the physical body. Dava challenged and enlivened my heart, spirit, and soul. I cannot describe the pure bliss that I felt every morning as we moved through our daily practice of breathing, singing, yoga and meditation on the beach. And each afternoon we sat in a circle and just talked - about yoga philosophy, about being a leader, about stepping into vulnerability, about finding self-love. Surprisingly, considering that we started as complete strangers, we found ourselves diving in deep, connecting in a pure and authentic way, growing as individuals and together. Dava inspired these discussions and created a space where we all felt safe, loved, and encouraged. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in taking the next step in their yoga journey. Whether you are considering teaching yoga or just want to deepen your personal practice, I promise that you will be so glad that you took the leap of faith to embark on this journey. It is truly a gift to yourself.
